Extreme Research Development, or XRD in short, is a new Italian nitro engine brand that focusses purely on the competition market. The range will include a .21 “Hard Tuned” 1/8 on-road, two .12 200mm “Tuned” and “Hard Tuned” on-road and two 3-port and 5-port 1/8 buggy engines all of which are hand-tuned to ensure the highest possible performance. All come equipped with ceramic bearings and are build from selected high-quality parts.

Hudy Body Fix bodyshell repair glue

Hudy’s Body Fix bodyshell repair glue is a specially formulated adhesive that reinforces polycarbonate bodyshells. Applied to highly stressed areas such as the front lid and bumper, wheel arches and body stay holes it prevents the polycarbonate from becoming cracked and the glue also holds existing splits together extending the lifespan of the body.

RS5 Motorsport introduce the RS5 T14 1/5th scale touring car kit. The follow-up model of the 3-times EFRA European championship winning platform received many new parts such as new brake callipers for improved brake efficiency, redesigned steering knuckles with improved Ackermann settings, new rear lower wishbones, new anti-roll bars and redesigned ball joints for improved performance and durability as well as new hardcoated modul 1 drivetrain gears for a more efficient transmission. Other new features include revised diff carriers and rear track rods, a new top deck and fuel tank, revised chassis cutouts for a wider range of chassis flex options as well as new brake master cylinders, a new servo tray, new servo arms and many other detail improvements such as servo wire routing channels, a new front bumper, updated shock absorbers and more.

Ho wins Modified at Hobbywing Cup 2013

Fai Ho wins Modified at Hobbywing Asia Open

The Hobbywing Asia Open took place in Guangzhou, China and in the Modified class it was Fai Ho (Serpent) who won on front of Andy Moore (Hot Bodies) and Atsushi Hara, who was driving a VBC chassis at this event. Due to massive rain the organisers had to cancel the finals and used the three qualifying rounds to determine the winner.

Additional Xray 4S touring car springs

Xray have new linear 4S springs for the T4 touring car available. In addition to the already existing range the C=2.6 is a medium stiffness offering made for the SLP shock absorbers. The springs come as pair and they are individually measured and matched to provide identical damping characteristics. Laser-engraved size markings help with identification.

Xray RX8 hard composite suspension arms

Xray introduce hard composite suspension arms for the RX8 on-road car. Available as upper and lower front and rear items are moulded from a new, harder composite material that offers higher rigidity which is ideal when running on high traction surfaces or in high ambient temperatures. The symmetrical arms are usable on the left and right hand side of the car.

Spec-R have two new sets of optional metal outdrives for Yokomo and Xray gear differentials available. The outdrives are machined from high-quality spring steel, they offer a hardened surface and their design does away with the need to use protective plastic blades, making them ideal when running a front differential. The parts offer super long-life characteristics and come as specific Yokomo and Xray set.

Team C Racing have new ultra hard springs for the GT8 line of cars available. They come in handy on tracks with high to very high traction and are available as separate front and rear spring pair. Designed to fit Team C’s 1/8th big bore shock absorbers the springs should also match with the dampers of many other brands.
