Team C twin fan heatsink mount

Team C Racing introduce this twin fan mount for 25mm to 45mm units. CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium and coming in orange or gun metal colour the 2-piece mount allows the installation of two fans in the motor area to maximise the cooling effect. Four different mounting patterns allow the use of 25mm, 30mm, 40mm or 45mm fans with the overall design targeting electric touring cars but it is understood that the mount will fit other types of vehicles too.

T.O.P. Photon & Sabre alloy rear hubs

T.O.P. introduce optional aluminium rear hubs for the Photon and Sabre line of touring cars. The updated parts feature an additional inner camber link mounting position to run a shorter link setup for more agility during cornering and increased grip out of the turn. CNC-machined from aluminium and coming red anodised the hubs fit the Photon and Photon EX as well as the Sabre FD and FD2.

Shepherd Velox lightweight pivot balls

Shepherd announce the release of the new titanium pivot balls for the Velox V8 and V10 car. Weighing only 2.1g and 1.9g respectively the CNC-machined suspension parts are made of high quality raw material offering a weight saving of 42 percent over the standard versions and thus helping to reduce the unsprung weight of the suspension which improves the overall handling of the car. The parts are sold in sets of 2 and 8 pieces and are available now.

Mon-Tech Racing Stratos 190mm body shell

Italian company Mon-Tech Racing introduce their new Stratos 190mm electric touring car body shell. Designed to achieve a maximum of steering precision combined with exceptional corner speed the body features a hood with two V-shaped grooves and a pronounced front splitter while the trunk sports two hollowed sections in order to reduce drag to maximise straight line speed. The body comes clear including window mask, decal sheet and wing mounting hardware.

Jacques Libar wins Luxembourg nationals Rd4

Round 4 of the Luxembourg 1/8th scale on-road nationals was held this weekend on the LMCC track in Luxembourg. On Sunday drivers faced dry and good weather, and it was Dirk Richard who took the pole position in front of Jacques Libar and Patrick Beltrallo. The 30 minute main final saw the Xray driver Jacques Libar cross the finishing line in first position, followed by Alexey Yaramishyan with Capricorn in 2nd and Dirk Richard with Serpent in 3rd.

Team C TC10 4WD touring car kit

Team C Racing, formally known for their off-road and GT cars, now enter the electric touring car market with the new TC10 kit. The car builds on a 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis and features front and rear low-profile aluminium bulkheads, aluminium motor mount, a dual bellcrank steering with floating servo mount, low-profile shock towers and aluminium shocks, as well as aluminium suspension mounts, a front spool and rear gear differential. There are no information on a release date yet but the car looks production ready so expect the kit to hit stores soon.

Atsushu Hara takes FEMCA ISTC title

Following the 1/8th Offroad FEMCA Championships in Fengtai, China, attention turned to the ISTC portion of the championships which is held on the outdoor asphalt track on the opposite side of the softball stadium to the buggy track. In the modified class attention was on Atsushi Hara, who was driving a Tamiya, to see if he could pull off the double having taken the buggy title a few days previously. Following free practice there was 5 rounds of qualifying in which Hara stamped his authority on the event buy taken the TQ spot for the triple mains in front of Wang Hai Feng driving a TOP in 2nd and Chan Chau Man in 3rd for Xray. In the finals it was Hara  who took the win in A1 but a problem in A2 meant he didn’t finish and so Chau Man took the win ahead of Feng and Samuel Chiu in 3rd. Hara would win again in A3 to secure the overall while Chau Man would take 2nd overall with Feng rounding out the podium in 3rd. In the Stock class it was victory for Chan Kalok, with the top 3 after qualifying not changing order meaning Bilguunbaater Erdenbaater was 2nd and Lai Bin 3rd.
