Yokomo has released a new aluminium motor mount for use on its SO1.0 or YZ-2 series of 2WD Buggies. It is thicker than the kit’s standard motor mount and is designed for heavy-duty use and withstand from bending during heavy crashes.

New from Ruddog are these two sets of Power Tool Wrench tips. The standard 1/4″ size drive make them fit basically any power drill or screwdriver and increase your speed of wrenching. Made from high quality HSS steel they are offered in two different sets, with either 1.5mm, 2.0mm 2.5mm and 3.0mm hex tips or with 1.5mm, 2.0mm hex tips and 5.5mm, 7.0mm nut tips. David Ronnefalk is to run Matrix Tires as part of his 2023 campaign, with the Italian tyre manufacturer announcing it has signed the former World Champion. Joining the new offroad market entrant, the factory Mayako driver and reigning European Champion, who has run previously without a tyre sponsor, said, “I’m very happy to announce that I have joined the Matrix Racing Factory team for 2023 and beyond. Excited to be a part of another new project and to be able to work and develop the products together with everyone in the Matrix team! Matrix has been around for a long time and for 2023 they have decided to take the step into the offroad market of tires. It will be a learning process for everyone involved, but I have no doubt we will reach our goals very quickly with the dedication, experience and knowledge I’ve seen from the group of guys in the development department. JConcepts has introduced the S2 body for Schumacher’s popular CAT L1R 4WD chassis. The new shell has some familiar features but rolled together with a low-profile stance. With 2015 IFMAR Championship credibility backing this design, the S2 includes the Carpet/Turf/Dirt rear wing to help deliver results on any racing circuit. Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout.
Adding to their extensive offering of aftermarket parts for Team Associated’s B74.2/ B74.1 1:10 4WD Buggy, T-Works has introduced these left thread Steel CVD Driveshafts. The compete driveshaft is made from high-quality steel which has been heat treated for extra hardness and is offered in 74mm front and 66mm rear pairs. The left hand threads mean wheel nut will not accidentally come loose while driving.

PDX RC Underground has announced it will be hosting the inaugural Hobbywing Stock Spec Nationals. The unique event will see all classes use handout Hobbywing Justock fixed timing motors. The brainchild of this event, and the owner of PDX Underground Kevin Focht explains, “We started running 17.5 spec at the track, and I was thinking that there has never been a national event where everyone was running a handout motor. The thought of having everyone going the same speed intrigued me, and I thought it would be a true racers event. I immediately hit up Hobbywing, and they were excitedly on board!” There will only be 4 classes for the event – 17.5 Buggy, 13.5 4wd Buggy, 13.5 Stadium Truck and 13.5 Short Course Truck. All will be using handout Hobbywing Justock motors. Esc’s will be blinky and all other ROAR rules apply. Entries will be limited due to the hand out motors. PDX RC Underground are excited to announce that 4 time World Champion Ryan Cavalieri will be attending and racing the event.
Sunpadow has announced that the SIGP International RC Car Grand Prix will be resumed in 2023. The Sunpadow International Grand Prix (SIGP) event had established itself as one of the leading annual international RC event and attracted many of the sports top drivers. World Champion Bruno Coelho was the winner of the onroad edition in 2019 while in 2018 Ryan Lutz won the Offroad edition and a year earlier Joern Nuemann took the win from Atsushi Hara. While actual race dates are still to be finalised Offroad is expected to be held in August, along with on-road in In October or November. Taking place at the 2017 Electric Offroad Championship venue in Xiamen, the SIGP will continue to offer one of the biggest prize as before with the total bonus for the two series as high as $ 70,000. ST Racing Concepts has released this Front Steering Servo Mount for the Traxxas TRX-4M 1:18 Crawler. The new CNC machined Aluminium mount reduces the flex and improves the power of your steering on your crawler. A lot of the steering power from the servo on the TRX-4M is lost due to the flexing of the stock plastic servo mount and the bending of the steering link. The STRC high quality mount completely locks the steering servo in place and allows maximum transfer of power from the servo to the steering linkage.
