Xray 64 pitch 72T & 75T pan car spur gears

Xray have introduced two new 64 pitch spur gears for 1/12th and 1/10th pan cars. They come in 72T and 75T specification and add to the already existing 76T to 96T gears. The smaller sizes are ideal for all stock racing classes and the gears come precision-moulded from high-quality composite material.

SWorkz Formula S35-3 front wing set

SWorkz have introduced the Formula 1/8th off-road bulkhead and front upper arm wing set for the S35-3 buggy. The set includes front wings that attach to the buggy’s front gearbox while the front upper arm wings follow the unique design of the recently introduced carbon front upper arm wings. The kit includes four bulkhead and four upper arm wings that can be left clear or painted in the designed colour or paint scheme. Using the wings will greatly improve front balance and results in easier to manage jumping and landing.

Xenon Racing white VSS S3M touring car drivetrain belts

Coming from Xenon Racing are new white VSS S3M drivetrain belts for most of today’s electric competition touring cars. Available as S3M180 (60T), S3M186 (62T) and S3M189 (63T) rear belts as well as S3M507 (169T), S3M510 (170T), S3M513 (171T) or S3M516 (172T) front variants the belts will greatly improve the overall drivetrain efficiency due to their reduced friction. This is however on the expense of durability that is slightly lower compared to standard black belts.

O.S Engines 21XR-B Version II 3.5cc buggy engine

Coming from O.S. Engines is the 21XR-B Version II 3.5cc nitro buggy engine. Targeting club-level racing the re-designed long-stroke engine features an easy-to-tune 21J3-I carburettor, a new aluminium cooling head for improved heat dissipation and it is upgradable using various O.S. Speed parts for areas such as the outer and inner heads, crankcase, crankshaft and more.

Brilliant RC fuel tank cap grip tape

Coming from Brilliant RC is the cap grip tape for the use on nitro fuel tanks. The anti-slip tape comes in 10x115mm and 20x115mm strips and it creates a textured and thus grippy surface on all fuel tank caps in order to ensure extra security when performing blistering fast pit stops. The self-adhesive strips can be cut to size easily and they are usable on many of different fuel tanks.

Tom Sommer wins Bavarian Nitro Buggy Championships

The 2017 Bavarian Nitro Buggy Championships were held in Landshut last weekend. Mugen racer Tom Sommer would snatch the pole position for the double A-mains and right from the start of the two mains he would be able to pull away, with only Michael Wintersberger able to stay in touch. At the end Tom would take the overall win and was handed the enormous challenge cup. Michael Wintersberger came home in 2nd for a Mugen 1-2 while HB Racing’s Stephan Bauer rounded out the top 3.

Cameron Zammit takes double Driver Series titles

Round 4 of the Victorian Championship Driver Series was held in Barmah on a very technical and challenging track. Cameron Zammit managed to TQ both the Pro Buggy and Pro Truggy classes and he also snatched the wins in both 30-minute finals. As a result Camerin also took out the Victorian Championship driver series in both classes.

Nico Bregante wins GT class at Metropolitan Champs

A round of the Argentinean Metropolitan Championship was held at the Hernan Matticoli track, home of the 2017 GT World Cup in December. In the GT class and due to the bad weather the program was shortened and ultimately it was Nico Bregante who made the best out of the slick conditions as he took the day’s win in the light rain.
