Xray Multi-Diff T3 LiPo

Xray Multi-Diff T3 LiPo

The new version of the Multi-Diff from Xray, called the Multi-Diff T3 LiPo has 3 different settings, standard one-way, solid one-way and solid axle. The lightweight one-way outdrives are manufactured from Hudy Spring Steel and have a hex-slot machined at each end, into which a lightweight machined steel hex-style locking axle can be inserted into both outdrives to lock them together. This allows the creation of a solid one-way, meaning that both outdrives turn freely together as a one-way (at the same time), thus creating a solid one-way off-power. To create a full-time solid axle, a strong steel pin is inserted through aligned holes in the main aluminum body of the Multi-Diff and the steel locking axle. This locks the outdrives completely, creating a full-time solid axle. Includes factory-pressed (non-replaceable) high-quality German one-way bearings, hand-ground for maximum running precision and strength.

Martin Hofer makes switch to Schumacher

Martin Hofer makes switch to Schumacher

Schumacher are pleased to announce the signing of top German On Road driver Martin Hofer. Martin is currently running second in the ETS Pro Stock championship and a German National A finalist. He will bring great knowledge to the team for current and future developments. Martin will compete at World, European and German Championship races along with the ETS series, and will make his debut for Schumacher at the ETS race in Austria this coming weekend. Martin had the following to say about the deal;

First of all I would like to thank Team Yokomo for all the years of support and the great time working together. However, sometimes you just need a change and after having tested the Mi4CX I decided that my change was to be a different coloured one! My first ever RC-car was a Schumacher Storm truck and I’m very happy to return to my roots in some ways. Being part of the well established Schumacher team around Chris Grainger, I think we will be able to bring the Mi4CX to the next level keeping it at the leading edge of modern touring cars.

Laszlo Kiss-Orban joins Viper RC

Laszlo Kiss-Orban joins Viper RC

Viper RC Solutions have announced that multiple Hungarian National Champion Laszlo Kiss-Orban has joined their international racing team. Laszlo will be testing and racing Viper R/C ESC’s and motors at major European events like EFRA Euros, the Euro Touring Series and Hungarian Nationals.

For me, as an electrical engineer, this opportunity has double value. To use at the races a highly innovative device like Viper R/C speedo, motors, and accessories as a driver is one part, but to participate in this development team thinking and working by their own way it’s a plus for me. I would like to thank Viper R/C for giving me this great opportunity, and I hope my small country will become well known part of the European racing field in the future.

The set includes a VCS through shaft center oil shock to perform tweak free side dampening, a carbon fiber 1 piece top deck to reduce tweak and allows just enough flex to maintain proper traction. SMI Motorsport have announced their new Orcan 25Plus[+] fuel, specially designed for .21 engines. Extensively tested, the new composition offers more power at lower engine temperatures and is clearly aimed at 1/8 scale nitro on-road cars. For off-road use the experts at SMI Motorsport recommend the tried and tested Orcan fuel with 16% and 25% nitromethane. The specific development of the Orcan 25Plus[+] is based on the Orcan 16Plus[+] which was launched a year ago and is the first choice in the 200mm touring car class. The new fuel is available from early March in handy 2.5-litre cans only.
