Made from a plastic material with the “right feel” the bottles are not too soft to having pitman overfill the tank nor are they too stiff to give a false sense of grip. They come printed with Hobby Pro USA logos and sport a long black anodised neck with plug.

Speed RC release a new version of the transportation bag line. Available in large and medium size the bags are redesigned to make them larger, lighter and even more durable. Both feature inner compartments with the “Big Bag” sporting three and the “Medium Bag” sporting four highly resistant drawers to store and transport the radio, charger, batteries, tools and more. The larger offering sports dimensions of 60x35x55cm with the medium one is 50x30x60cm in size. Both outer fabric parts are completely washable.

Cody Jandrakovic wins ROAR Region 8 off-road regionals

Hobbytown in Omaha Nebraska was the setting for this year’s ROAR Region 8 Off-Road event. There were nearly 150 racers at the newly enclosed HobbyPlex to battle out for Midwest bragging rights. JConcepts Team Driver Cody Jandrakovic took the 2WD open class with his Finnisher/Bar Codes equipped Associated B4.1 and he also TQ’d and finished 2nd in open stadium truck with a Team Associated T4 decked out with a JConcepts Hi-Flow body and blue compound Bar Codes.

Akula Racing DEX210 carbon fibre options

Akula Racing release four carbon fibre option parts for the Team Durango DEX210 buggy. Available are front and rear shock towers as well as a battery brace and steering brace. The front shock tower is cut from 4mm carbon fibre material and offers a total of five upper shock mounting positions with the camber link position has been moved to the front of the tower and additional mounting positions have been provided to enable a longer front link to be run.

Portuguese Off-Road Series Rd2

On the Weekend of 5t and 6th of November the second round of the Portuguese Off-Road Series was held. 60 Drivers attended in the four classes Buggy 2WD, Buggy 4WD and Short Course 2WD and 4WD. Among them was Miguel Matias, the multi-times World and Euro Finalist made his appearance at this round and could not wish for a better debut as he was dominating the 2WD and 4WD buggy classes. In 4WD Nuno Roque took the runner-up spot just befind Miguel with Hugo Miguel grabbing the last podium spot (all three Team Durango DEX410). In 2WD it was again Migual who took the race victory followed by Nuno Roque (both Team Durango DEX210) and Nuno Rola (TLR22).

Borja Hernandez joins Alpha Engines

Alpha Engines have announced that top Spanish off road driver Borja Hernandez has joined their team. The former World Finalist and 2 time European Championship podium finisher will move to Alpha for the 2012 season to play a big role inside Alpha official driver’s team. Borja had the following the say about the deal:
