Some 72 drivers took part in the event and it was Serpent driver Alberto Garcia who took TQ, being the only driver to make 9 laps and setting a new fastest lap of the track. The main final started with a tricky surface, changing between high grip in some areas, while others were very dusty. After some mistakes from Garcia in the first minutes, Daniel Pariente (Mugen/OS) took the leadership, followed by Roberto Rodero (Mugen/Nova). With 30 minutes to go, Garcia was able to bump up from the 5th position until the first place and never looked back taking the win. Daniel Pariente had some engines problems, loosing a podium place leaving Roberto Rodero in 2nd and youngster Ignacio Gutierrez, with an amazing driving style, taking the third place.
