JJ Wang signs to Novarossi

Novarossi have announced the signing of 13-Year Old Chinese-American JJ Wang to their factory team. The up and coming young driver, who resides in Shanghai, China, is the top 1/8 nitro driver in the country and rising star among the ranks of top Asian drivers. JJ Wang wins Hobby Wing warm-up

The Hobby Wing season opener warm up race was held this past weekend in Shanghai at the TRS Junti Speedway and brought together more than 45 drivers from Shanghai and nearby cities of Nanjing and Hangzhou. The featured 11.5 stock class A-Main race saw some exciting action from top drivers in China. 13-year-old JJ Wang driving his HB TCX battled fellow HB factory driver and current Chinese National Champion Wang Hai Feng in breathtaking 8 minutes of non-stop pressure driving in the first 2 finals. Huang Yi-Hao wins 200mm Rd1 in Taiwan

…TQ, setting a best lap time of 17.6 seconds, which would be a new class track record. He went on to take the win in the final ahead of Xray NT1 driver Howard Cho in 2nd with another Serpent S733, that of Ji-Chen Ton, in 3rd. Mugen Racing sign JJ Wang

Mugen Racing are excited to have JJ Wang signed up for their 2011 race team. The 13-year old from California is an up and coming young driver who recently qualified into the A-mains on his first trip to the Winternats. JJ also finished the 2010 racing season in sedan ranking 34th at the IFMAR World Championships held in Texas. Samual Chiu wins Novarossi China Open

Samual Chiu, top 1/10 sedan driver from Hong Kong drove his Murnan M3 powered NT1 to TQ and the win at the 2011 Novarossi China Open. Nitro-X fuel sign JJ Wang

Australian Fuel Company, Nitro-X has announced that they have signed 13 year old JJ Wang. Racing both sedan and 1/8th scale, the young Chinese-American Mugen driver is one of the up and coming young drivers from Asia. Salven & Chiu win Xceed TRS Asia Cup

The 3rd annual Xceed TRS Asia Cup was held in Shanghai, China just a weekend ago with over 50 drivers from 13 countries participating. In the 1/8 class, it was Michael Salven who took TQ and the win over second place Suruth from Thailand, while in third was Howard Zuo from Taiwan. In the 1/10 Sedan class, Samual Chiu of Hong Kong driving his NT-1 battled TQ Wang Hai Feng from China to win by only 1.1 seconds.
