Kyosho Masters – Elite final video

[googlevideo]5409638732023805980[/googlevideo] RC Mag have again produced some great videos from the 2007 Kyosho Masters, held in France last weekend. As you can see from these videos of the Elite buggy final, it was really wet and this probably explains why the British racer Elliot Boots was able to win easily, using all those skills gained racing in the often wet and miserable UK Nationals. Check out the first part of the final above and watch the second video below. Click here to see the second part… [googlevideo]2563277596701856618[/googlevideo] Source: RC Mag [rcmag.com]…

Elliot Boots wins Kyosho Masters

British racer Elliot Boots has beaten all in the Elite Buggy class to win the 2007 Kyosho Masters in France this weekend. The young driver lined up 2nd on the grid, with only current World Champion Mark Pavidis ahead of him after a very quick semi run, but in the 45 minute race, after Pavidis ran into some trouble, it was left to Boots to take over at the front and win the race by 2 laps ahead of Karl Jackson with French racer Stéphane Deroch in 3rd. In the Truggy class it was Mark Pavidis that took win ahead…

Team Orion CRF .21 – Close up

…have photos of the internals of this new engine and at first glance they seem to look very similar to those used in the .12 engines from CRF. How good is this engine, well Bertin qualified his CRF powered Kyosho in 9th place in Elite buggy at the Masters, but without knowing the full details, its hard to judge the motor based on this performance. Look below for yourself at the new crankshaft and the piston liner set. Stéphane Bouche wins Rd4 of French 1/8th Nats

As much as Kyosho have stamped their dominance in 1/10th 200mm in France, Mugen have done the same in 1/8th scale and last weekends 4th round of the French Nationals, held in Toulouse, would be no exception. Qualifying saw Round 1 and 3 winner Nicolas Guillot, racing for Mugen, take the pole position in front of local racer Briere in 2nd and 3rd going to Laurent Zatla. The French Elite National runs in a similar way to 1/8th buggy meetings in that the top drivers take part in Semi finals to determine the main final, and after the Semis it…

B-A Arnaldi wins Rd4 French 1/10th 200mm Nationals

The 4th round of the French 1/10th 200mm Nationals was held on the weekend on the very nice Longvic racing facility run by the Mini Racing Car Longvicien club. Continue Reading… The truck final was the first to run and Mark Christopher took his Elite r/c Serpent 720 to the finish line taking a well earned win over Gary Macarthur also driving a Serpent. Last weekend in the South France, saw the 3rd round of the French National 1/8th scale Championships take place at the Beaumont-Monteux track. In qualifying for the Elite class it was round 1 winner Nicolas Guillot that took the top qualifying spot ahead of round 2 winner Stephane Bouche, both racing for Mugen. In the main final Guillot could easily pull away after an accident in the first corner cost his Championship rival Bouche 5 minutes as he had to replace his exhaust system.
