Team Magic E4 touring car

Team Magic E4 touring car

You may remember a long time ago that Team Magic announced that they were going to enter the electric touring car market with, what was at the time and still is, a rather unconventional looking car. Well that car has been seen testing recently, in preparation for its pending release and from what we can see it retains the same 3 belt layout but has a number of changes from the prototype we saw previously, such as the upper bracket and changes to the front of the car, perhaps to make it simpler. The car retains its central battery mount, similar to the Losi JRX-S Type R, and has been kept extremely low which is one of the things i did really like about the car. Release date is not yet known, but the car in the pictures appears to have production parts on it, so expect it soon.

Serpent have introduced these new ventilated brake discs for use on the companies line of 1/8th scale and 1/10th scale chassis’. Made from a single piece of steel they offer improved stopping power yet are very lightweight thanks to the many holes made into the discs surface.
