Axial Yeti Score Trophy Truck kit

Axial Yeti Score Trophy Truck kit

Axial have introduced the Yeti Score Trophy Truck in kit form. The purposely engineered desert truck features a solid rear axle and independent front suspension, designed for the roughest of conditions and real dot. Full-size Trophy Trucks inspired the distinct aesthetic and technical elements of this truck, right down to the solid rear axle while the retro inspired body features design queues from a 1960’s era roof-line, classic 1970’s wheel arches and glass shapes from the 1980’s. Giving this kit an extra bit of modern contrast comes in the form of fluorescent orange Method 105 wheels. This kit version will accept standard 1/10th scale brushed and brushless 4-pole systems and most major stick pack batteries. Precision machined aluminium shocks are standard equipment and deliver smooth suspension movement for consistent handling.

Yokomo BD7-16 hard carbon chassis & soft upper deck

Yokomo BD7-16 hard carbon chassis & soft upper deck

Yokomo have introduced two new option parts for the BD7-2016 touring car in the form of a hard carbon fibre chassis and a soft carbon fibre upper deck. Starting with the chassis, it is designed for low to medium grip tracks and cut from a new carbon weave that offers increased torsional strength while being slightly thinner, providing a better balanced front-to-rear grip, resulting in improved corner speed and initial steering. The chassis is characterised by three slots under the main gear section and two additional cuts along the battery and electronics compartment. Also new is the soft upper deck for the use with the optional aluminium chassis. The softer top deck provides improved traction and a more progressive feel which translates to increased side bite. The part was in use by the Yokomo team during the recent ETS round in Austria, being a favourite among those modified and stock drivers that opted to run an alloy chassis.

JConcepts introduce RC10T carbon fibre option parts

JConcepts introduce RC10T carbon fibre option parts

Following yesterday’s introduction of the Ford F-150 bodyshell for the vintage Team Associated RC10T stadium truck, JConcepts have more options for the popular truck available. Coming soon are 3.0mm front and rear carbon fibre shock towers as well as a 2.5mm carbon fibre transmission brace, all of which are made from high-quality material. The shock towers are designed to replace the standard fibre glass units and offer improved rigidity for upped suspension efficiency while also adding visual impact and that factory look. As for the transmission brace, the part also adds rigidity and it makes for less rear end tweak and bending issues by replacing the stock composite part. The shock towers and rear transmission brace are direct replacements for the standard parts and they fit all RC10T models.
