Xray XB8E 2022 1/8th buggy – Coming soon

Just like its nitro counterpart, Xray have announced the XB8E will be getting an update for 2022. No official details about the latest incarnation of the company’s popular buggy platform are available yet but we bring you more information about the 2022 variant once they surface.

Willspeed TakeOne HRC AE B6 front bulkheads

New for the Team Associated B6 series of cars Willspeed introduces their TakeOne HRC machined aluminium front 25°/30° bulkhead. This front bulkhead raises the hinge pin 1mm closer to the chassis, raising the roll centre. The result is more steering response and overall steering throughout the corner and is a great option for all track and surface conditions. Lightweight at only 8.5g, this keeps the steering input feel immediate and agile. Supplied with new hinge pin brace to suit geometry change they are available now in clear, blue or black anodised finishes.

Vision Racing B6.3 carbon fibre chassis

Vision Racing have introduced the first 3mm carbon chassis for the Team Associated B6.3 and older versions. This chassis takes an incredible 50 grams of weight off. The set includes chassis, side braces, aluminium nose plate, battery braces, aluminium stand offs and mounting hardware.

Exotek Racing XB2 7075 alloy idler gears

Exotek Racing have introduced these hard anodised 7075 alloy idler gears for the complete Xray XB2 series of gear boxes. Available in 38T, 36T and 25T, they are a must have for high powered racing applications. This is much stronger than the stock plastic idler gear but not indestructible so it is important to use black or white grease on the gears and reapply frequently to prolong its life along with proper slipper adjustments.

Matt Chambers joins Schumacher Racing

Schumacher Racing are very pleased to announce the signing of extremely experienced and professional US racer Matt Chambers. He has made multiple ROAR Nationals Mains and is a great guy to add to the USA team. His focus will now be on 1/10th Off Road with his Schumacher rides. Matt had the following to say, ‘I have wanted to race for Schumacher Racing for more than a decade, I have always felt that they make superior cars with no compromises. This year it has all finally lined up for me to do so. I can’t wait to race the Schumacher cars and work with the US and the European team drivers. Needless to say I’m very excited for 2022 & 2023. JConcepts has designed a user friendly and light-weight titanium axle specifically for the Team Associated B6.3. The blooming flower design offers individual pads to support the wheel. This allows the part to reduce even more rotating weight on the axle and with the titanium material supporting the load, offers great durability. The titanium material axle anodised in black has second operation machining and JC laser etched logos for the best look possible.
