Muchmore Impact FD4 6000mAh 14.8v LiPo battery

Muchmore have announced that their new Impact Silicon Graphene FD4 6000mAh 14.8v 130C LiPo Battery is now ROAR Approved. This new 6000 4S LiPo battery was designed and tested by Muchmore factory driver Ryan Cavalieri to provide plenty of run-time for the 10-minutes A-Mains, while also improving the handling of his car with less overall weight & lower centre of gravity.

T-Works carbon fibre wing button

T-Works have introduced this general purpose carbon fibre wing button. The 1-piece wing button is machined from high-quality carbon fibre and makes for easier wing mounting, improved looks and better wing support, especially when running lightweight polycarbonate wings. The buttons come has elongated holes to allow mounting on a multitude of mounts and comes supplied with the mounting hardware.

SWorkz S35-4 red suspension inserts

A simple update from SWorkz who have released their plastic suspension bracket inserts in red. The standard S35-4 series black plastic inserts are now available in this striking red colour and they will fit all S35-4, S35-GT2 and S35-T2 nitro and electric series cars.

FX release further details on the K303

Having previously teased the new K303 engine, FX have released some further details on this new .21 buggy motor. With a focus on longer runtime, this 3-port motor has a DLC coated crankshaft which has been balanced with two tungsten inserts and comes as standard with a ceramic rear bearing. Externally the biggest change over its predecessor is the 9-rib cooling head.

T-Works B6.3/D bellcrank plate & servo mount plate

Two new items from T-Works for the Associated RC10B6.3/D, starting with this steering bellcrank plate. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, it replaces the stock plastic part and adds strength to the front of the bellcrank. It has been anodised black and features machined chamfered edges. Also for the steering of the car is this carbon servo mount plate, which again replaces the stock plastic part adding that factory look.

Horizon Hobby acquires AKA Racing Products

Big news as Horizon Hobby, LLC has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of AKA Products, Inc. Founded by Gil Losi Jr. and Joel Johnson in Temecula, California, AKA has been creating World-class products by World champions since 2006 and are in fact the current World Champions in 1/8th offroad. This acquisition follows last year’s purchase by Horizon Hobby of Pro-Line, meaning the company now owns two of the 3 major tire brands for offroad racing. “This agreement marks another pivotal moment in Horizon Hobby’s commitment to the RC community. AKA adds more world-class experience and products to Horizon Hobby’s Best Brands In RC” said Chris Dickerson, CEO of Horizon Hobby. FX Engines tease new K303 motor

The new motors continue to come from FX Engines with another new teaser, this time for the K303. Again we have little information to go on, however the name would suggest a follow up to the previous K302.1 3-port buggy engine, while the silhouette also points to a new cooling head. We will know more soon enough.
