The Aalborg RC Center hosted the opening round of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals this past weekend. The event was held in several 1/10th on-road classes and in Touring Modified it was Xray’s Patrick Danielsen with the overall TQ after winning all three qualifying rounds. Yokomo’s Frederik Hovgaard had to settle for 2nd overall as Mike Hansen, Morten Iversen and Mad Koue were all tie on points for the 3rd place with the better tie breaker handing Mike P3 on the grid. The 7th and final round of the Danish 1/8th Off-road Nationals was held at the Greve RC Center last weekend. Due to heavy rain the E-Buggy and Nitro Truggy portion of the event had to be cancelled but luckily the track dried up for Sunday so the Nitro Buggy race would be held at planned. After some entertaining qualifiers it was Daniel Bubel with the overall TQ and after the semis it was again Daniel on top with Peter Harder starting from P2. Round 5 of the Danish 1/8th Off-road Nationals was held in Bjæverskov last weekend. The sunny and hot summer weather made for some great racing and after Sunday’s 1/8th Nitro Buggy qualifying it was Pelle Culmsee with the overall TQ from Daniel Bubel in 2nd and Peter Harder on the 3 spot. The 45-minute A-main final then saw Xray’s Peter Harder coming out on top with a 12-seconds margin on Serpent’s Nikolai Lamberts who had the pace to match Peter but suffered a couple of mistakes and an additional stop for fuel. The Tinglev club held round four of the Danish 1/10th Electric Off-road Nationals this past weekend. The 2WD class saw Team Associated’s Jesper Rasmussen making a clean sweep in the qualifiers to take the pole position for the triple A-mains from Team Associated teammate, Marcus Kaerup in 2nd. the finals then again had Jesper dominating the proceedings with wins in A1 and A2 allowing him to sit out A3. Round 4 of the Danish 1/8th Off-road Nationals was recently held at the Skanderborg RC club. Daniel Bubel (Xray) took the TQ in the Nitro Buggy class and he would start from 2nd into the 45-minute main final, just behind Xray’s Peter Harder. When the dust had settled, it was Daniel with the win, some two laps in front of Steffen Culmsee (SWorkz) as Jan D. Hansen (Serpent) came in 3rd to round out the podium. The Glostrup RC club held round 3 of the Danish Electric Off-road Nationals this past weekend. The 2WD Buggy class saw Jesper Rasmussen taking the TQ from Marcus Kaerup and Jonas Kaerup. After the triple A-main events the order would stay the same with Jesper taking the opening two A-mains for the overall as Marcus cemented his runner-up position with a leg 3 win. Round 2 of the Danish DRCMU 1/10th Off-road Nationals was hosted by the Heden RC club this past weekend. In the premier 2WD Modified Buggy class it was Team Associated’s Jesper Rasmussen with the win from Yokomo’s Frederick Hovgaard on the runner-up spot. The second round of the Danish 1/8th Off-road Nationals was hosted by the RC Tonder club last weekend. In the Nitro Buggy class, held on Sunday, it was Pelle Culmsee with a clean sweep in the qualifiers to take the overall TQ from Marcel Krüger in 2nd and Peter Harder in 3rd.
