Mazzeo TQs opening qualifier at ENS

Alessio Mazzeo has TQ’d the opening round of 1:10 qualifying at the Infinity Euro Nitro Series in the Netherlands. A very close Q1, the Xray driver would top the times from the Infinity’s of Jilles Groskamp and Teemu Leino. With the Top 4 covered by just half a second, Shepherd’s Eduardo Escandon would get a P4 for the first of the four qualifiers ahead of WRC’s Melvin Diekmann. For Top Seed Dominic Greiner, a broken rear belt in the warm-up would prevent him from starting the qualifier while Serpent team-mate Mark Green also failed to start suffering an engine failure…

Greiner tops first time practice at ENS Season opener

Coming in the the fifth season of the Infinity Euro Nitro Series as the clear title favourite, Dominic Greiner has lived up to expectations by setting the fastest time in the first of the timed practice runs at the season opener in the Netherlands. Having been fastest in practice, the Serpent driver continued that form setting the fastest three laps from former champion Teemu Leino by 3/10th of a second around the De Baanbrekers. BRCA 1/8th Circuit Championships Rd1 – Report

…win the spectators saw Tim Wood race to victory in the A-final for the Shepherd team on his debut for the manufacturer, very closely followed by Mark Green (Serpent). Andy Hastings took the third step of the podium (Shepherd). Neil and Alex had to retire early with mechanical issues. A few drivers were also using headset for 2-way communication, new for this year, making for a quieter pitlane. 2017 Fall Brawl – Report

…with ease over a field of fast 40’s. Jimbo Kvidera and Paul Ciccarello finished in the top 3 in 2nd and 3rd, respectively, while former World Champion Greg Degani and Duane Karlovsky took home 4th and 5th. Mark Moon took a convincing win in A1 and A2 and won the overall in the 40+ E-Buggy class at the 2017 Fall Brawl. Tim Wood crowned BRCA 1/8th IC Track Champion

The final round of the British IC Track Championship took place at the Cotswold circuit in central UK. Saturday Morning was damp, so cars hit the circuit for practice in the afternoon only. Noticeable quick cars were Green, Wood, Spashett, and Hastings. Sunday saw a fully dry track from the start. Four rounds of qualifying saw Mark Green take a superb TQ, but the title contenders lined up 2nd Spashett and 4th Wood. …again were away clean, driving fast but smooth and making it look easy. Dan Jones and Jamie Paton had a close race for a while until Dan pulled away to finish 3rd in this leg.
