Element RC Trailrunner 4×4 with Fire body

Element RC’s Trailrunner 4×4 is now available in a red/orange, a colour the company refers to as ‘Fire’. The body and chassis remain unchanged, with the new colour body made from a high-strength polycarbonate that has been pre-painted to look fresh from the dealer showroom. Designed for looks, function and customisation, it features a two-piece design with removable front lower valance, injection-moulded fender flares, B-pillar appliqués, door handles, windshield wipers, mirrors and front grill installed right out of the box. Also included are injection-moulded roof rack, three-piece front bumper with D-rings, snorkel and accessory decal sheet.

Tebo double at Tekno RC Winter series

Round 1 of the Tekno RC 1/8 Winter Series was held last weekend at the HobbyTown USA Hobbyplex in Omaha. Racing was close, with Jared Tebo (Tekno) taking the TQ in Expert Nitro Buggy, with Mason Fuller (TLR) starting first in Expert Electric Buggy. In Nitro, Mason and Jared would have an epic battle for the entire 30 minute main. Both would would make strange mistakes every time they built any sort of a lead. Close acing throughout, Tebo would emerge the winner in front of Fuller in 2nd with Jared Wiggins (Tekno) right there in 3rd, the top 3 finishing within 4 or 5 seconds. In Electric, Mason and Jared again battled early, but unfortunately Mason would have some mistakes and Jared pulled a big gap to win the 10 minutes main.

T-Works MP10E carbon gearbox plate

Coming from T-Works and made for the Kyosho MP10E is this carbon fibre centre gearbox plate. The part is cut from high-quality carbon fibre and it is a direct fit to the centre bulkhead of the EP-powered MP10, replacing the kit standard metal version.

Losi LMT 4wd Solid Axle Monster Truck

Completely designed from the ground up, the Losi LMT 4wd Solid Axle Monster Truck is the first of its kind on the market combining all-out performance with incredible scale detail. Starting with the chassis, a twin vertical plate is designed to provide all of the performance adjustments needed to tune the truck for any situation. Whether you are a scale driver, a basher or a racer, the chassis is designed to accommodate multiple shock setups keeping you tracking straight, no matter the terrain. New multi-piece axle housings surround the 1/8th scale drivetrain. Additionally, the easy access centre transmission comes stock with a centre differential and allows for quick changes with the optional spool for that wheel standing action. For the true Monster truck experience, the axles also allow for optional 4-wheel steering and a new adjustable servo saver to keep the wheels pointed in the right direction. AKA V2 1:10 scale front foams

AKA have announced their new V2 1:10 scale front foams for both 2wd and 4wd applications. With new tires like the Scribble with a different carcass design, a new more robust front foam was required to further enhance the tire’s performance. The V2 foam was designed to fit AKA’s latest carcass design first used in their Scribble line of tires. It fills out the carcass evenly to support the sidewall and centre of the tire for even wear across the tread pattern. The new V2 foams will fit in most, if not all, standard 2.2 2wd and 4wd front tires regardless of brand.

RC Project S35-4 & D819 shock cap & membrane sets

Similar in design to the recently release ONG RC8B3.2 shock caps, RC Project have released shock caps for the Sworkz S35-4 & S35-3 and also for the HB Racing D819RS, D819 & D817. The 6 upper machined pockets on the cap have a dual purpose, reducing the weight of the cap, making it the lightest on the market as well as helping with heat dissipation. The 3 bleed holes coupled to the new membranes will allow a rebound close to 0 and a homogeneous response between the shock absorbers once closed. For the HB specific shock caps, the new geometry allows a front droop up to 107 mm in order to adapt the set-up according to the type of track with the caps mounting on the shock tower without any modification. Both kits include 12 membranes with 3 different hardnesses that will allow you to vary the behaviour of the shock absorber based on the track, the driving style and temperature.

SWorkz S35-4E aluminium servo mount

The kit standard S35-4E servo mount is made from plastic and now SWorkz have released a new option made from CNC machined aluminium. Hard coated, the new servo mount will provide the steering servo a more solid mounting and quicker steering response.
