Infinity IF14-2 flex shock towers

For the Infinity IF14-2, Creation Model have released a new line of flex shock towers. By reducing the rigidity of the shock tower connecting point to the upper bulkhead, the stiffness around the bulkhead section is reduced and the overall chassis flex is increased. When used up front it can result in a calmer initial steering response with the reduction in initial stiffness helps smooth out cornering and can help reduce tyre wear. In the rear it allows for smoother rear rotation. The rear tower comes in regular and horizontal body post versions.

2021 Midland Indoor Carpet Championship Rd3 – Report

The team returned to Telford Tennis centre for the third round of the 2021/2022 MICC championship this past weekend. A nice mix of flowing corners and technical corners on the track created some great racing all through the field. The track is unchanged in size at a whopping 38 meter by 24 meter on the popular ETS Black carpet. There is lots of grip and plenty of space around the lap which makes it much easier to pass cars and let cars pass you during qualifying. The touring car classes all use the very popular Volante 28 MICC spec tyre (1 set per day) and the F1 class uses the Pit Shimizu (Schumacher versions) 571 and 575 tyres. Control additive is supplied for all racers free of charge and is the CS high grip variant.

Zuykov 1/10 TC setup station

Zuykov, new brand of Russian TC driver Denis Zuykov have released amongst other things, this TC setup station. The idea behind this product is that the kit contains everything you need to set up your car including camber, caster, toe, EPA, droop and ride height. The scale for the camber setting is not at the bottom as usual, but at the top of the setup wheel. This scale is closer to the eyes and its location is much more convenient. Each setup wheel uses 2 bearings for a smooth movement and a scale at the top allows for minimal movement of the bottom over the setup board, greatly increasing accuracy. The top plate can be used on cars up to 210mm wide, adjustable from 40mm out to 40mm in. For owners of Awesomatix A800 the kit includes measuring caster blocks. Thanks to the scale on the side of the setup wheel, the caster and camber can be adjusted simultaneously without the need for a calipers. To change the length of the turnbuckle, there is a 3mm and 4mm wrench in the box.
