Ahn Jung Hyun wins AC Speedway Invitational race

AC speedway in Busan, South Korea held their Invitational race race last weekend. The asphalt track was well prepared with sugar water to offer consistent grip for racers. Three classes were run, Modified, 13.5T Boosted and 13.5T Nonboost. The race consisted of 4 rounds of qualifying followed by triple mains for the A finalist on this amazing track. In the Modified class, Yokomo’s factory driver Nicholas Lee from Singapore would take 3 out of 4 rounds in qualifying, earning him the TQ spot ahead of Ahn Jung Hyun (AC speedway owner) and Kang Jung Mug. In the finals, Ahn showed great composure to take the win with his BD11 ahead of Kwon Chanu (BD11) and Nicholas lee, who suffered with technical issues will, rounding out the podium.

T-Works have released new ECS driveshafts for the Mugen MTC2. Made from high-quality spring steel for maximum durability, the dual coupling shafts reduce the chattering of the front suspension in corners and are a direct replacement for the stock parts. iRacing O.S. rear engine cover

iRacing have introduced this new rear engine cover, with mixture recovery system for OS .21 engines. Thanks to the 2 holes on the upper side of the cover, which go under the piston and the central hole to which they are connected, it is able to improve the internal fluid dynamics, improving performance and consumption. Suitable for iRacing and O.S. .21 engines.

Infinity IF15 aluminium servo saver & centre bulkheads

Creation Model have produced two new option parts for the Infinity IF15 the first of which is the new aluminium servo saver. By replacing the original kit plastic part with this high-precision 7075 machined part, all flex and deflection will be eliminated, resulting in excellent consistency and sharp steering characteristics. The other new item is a pair of aluminium centre bulkheads that ensures chassis rigidity in the centre section of the car. Helps with traction and added stability in high grip situations.

Awesomatix BW95 floating front weight

From Awesomatix, the BW95 is a new floating front weight for the A800FX & A800FX Evo cars. This additional 95 gram weight helps to adjust the front/rear weight distribution of the car for different track conditions. Additionally it improves the front flex of the car, as BW95 replaces the AM88//R shock holders. This improved front flex helps with better overall steering and front end grip. The weight doesn’t touch the bulkheads or the chassis after the installation of the shocks.

Prümper wins ETS Rd1 in the Netherlands

Season #15 of the Euro Touring Series kicked off this past weekend with AMCA Apeldoorn in the Netherlands playing host to Rd1 of the series. The race saw 198 entries in six classes and the event started with a free practice day on Thursday. A solid weather forecast for the weekend made all drivers looking forward for great ETS racing action. As always at the ETS, the race included 4 rounds of qualifying followed by triple mains for everybody on the amazing racetrack in Apeldoorn. During the weekend, the forecast for Sunday was changing and showing the possibility of rain on the radar. The ETS crew changed the schedule and raced two complete rounds of finals on Saturday, and only one on Sunday and it paid off with all races in dry conditions.
