Blaze Racing Plasma motor & axle mount

Blaze Racing have release this upgraded Kyosho Plasma motor and axle mount. This set eliminates the problems of insufficient ride height with small diameter tires and allows the use of small spur gears. It also has standard top-button motor screw slots, eliminating motor flex. The parts are made from polished 7075 T6 aluminium with engraved logo on top of the left bulkhead.

RDRP sign Czech driver Kaja Novotny

Revolution Design Racing Products have signed Czech off-road talent Kaja Novotny to their world-wide team of drivers. Kaja started his racing career back in 2004 at the age of 8 and has since been not only the youngest winner of a racing series in the Czech Republic but he also won several Czech Junior titles in 1/18th and 1/10th Touring Car as well as 1/10th Off-Road. His biggest victories so far include the overall win of the 2008/2009 Czech Stock and Modified Touring Car Cup, the 2011 Czech Off-Road Cup (2WD & 4WD), the 2011/2012 Winter Mibosport Cup (2WD & 4WD), the 2012 Czech 2WD Off-Road National Champs and the Summer Mibosport Cup (2WD & 4WD). Kaja also is a regular participant of the highly competitive Euro Offroad Series and took the overall 9th position in 4WD and overall 5th position in SC 4WD during his 2011/2012 campaign.

Robert Batlle wins 4 from 4 in Spain

Last weekend saw the 4th and final round of the Spanish 1/8 Off Road Nats take place in Silla (Valencia). Rain on Friday stopped action on track but helped to eliminate the dust from the track and increase the grip, leaving a very nice surface for Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Robert Batlle took the TQ spot followed by Andrés Marcelino and Borja Hernández. The ‘A’ semi final was also won by Robert Batlle while rising star Ignacio Candel took the ‘B’ semi final, which mirrored the final  result with Borja Hernandez completing the top 3. With this victory Batlle takes a clean sweep of the 2012 Nationals and wins 5 series in a row.

Sweep XB9 Birdie body shell

Sweep are proud to announce the release of the Birdie body shell for the Xray XB9 buggy. Great care was taken to refine the design in order to achieve a body that creates maximum stability with enhanced steering feeling and increased airflow to lower the engine temperature. Sweep factory team driver Reno Savoya was full of praise after the initial test and he attests the body plenty of traction in high speed sweeper sections, and a smooth and stable cornering making the Birdie ideal for open tracks like the World Championship track in Argentina or Cnetic in Indonesia.

TOP Rebel R-F01 offset front axle

TOP Racing introduce these optional offset front axles for the Rebel R-F01 formula chassis. The parts relocate the wheel axles in relation to the king pin to make for a different steering feeling and response that some track conditions may ask for.

Hiro Seiko aluminium hex screws

Asian option parts company Hiro Seiko introduce their new 7075-T6 aluminium hex screws. Available with button and flat head the fasteners are significantly lighter than steel screws, reduce the overall weight of the chassis and come in Tamiya blue, Yokomo blue, orange, red and purple colour. Both screw types comes with M3 thread and in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm length.

Volker completes perfect start to ETS campaign

In search a third consecutive Yokomo Euro Touring Series title Ronald Volker completed the perfect start to season No.6 of the world famous electric touring car series in Germany today when he backed up his leg 1 win with another dominant win in leg 2 to wrap up the overall win.  Having already secured the bonus point for taking the TQ honours in qualifying, the German ace will head to the round 2 of the series in Czech Republic with a 3 point lead over the runner-up at the Muelheim-Kaerlich event with that driver to be decided in this evening’s third and final leg.  That battle for second overall set to be fought out between Associated’s Juho Levänen, Yokomo’s Yannic Prümper and Team Xray’s Adrian Bernsten.
