Silvio Hächler wins at Swiss 1/8 on-road champs Rd4

The 4th round of the Swiss 1/8th on–road championship was held at the Sebastian Buemi track of the Mini Racing Cars Aigle & Lausanne club. Western Germany IC on-road regionals Rd3 – Report

…the Shepherd triple Rausch (352), Bernhardt (346) and Puepke (343) among 23 competitors. As for the statistics, Serpent and Shepherd shared the first position in the chassis ranking at this race weekend with 14 cars each, followed by 11 Mugen, 8 Xray and 1 Capricorn, Kyosho and Motonica each. Spanish 1/8th on-road nationals Rd1 – Report

…Carlos’ problems handed Sergio Montesinos (Mugen/Novarossi) the runner-up spot while Sergio Rivas (Serpent/Novarossi) completed the podium. In the B class Iñaki Otero (Serpent/O.S.) came in 1st, the podium was completed by Adrian Fernandez (Mugen/Novarossi) and Juan Pedro Farias (Mugen/Picco). In the 40+ class Cayetano Martinez (Motonica/Vox) successfully ended the race sitting on top of the podium with Alberto Fernandez (Serpent/O.S.) and Vicente Garcia (Serpent/Novarossi) finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Tim Wood wins UK 1/8th on-road season opener

…disrupted the practice for the remainder of the day. Although the rain stopped and with no wind or sun, the track remained damp all afternoon. The tires to use were damps and these were clearly faster than dry tires when a back to back test was carried out. Sunday arrived to a damp track but clear sky, so the track after continuous racing would eventually dry for the latter part of qualifying.
