Smokem T3MX chassis for T3 2012

Smokem Racing has released the new T3MX chassis for the popular Xray T3’12 electric tourer. The 2.25mm thick chassis has been designed to provide additional flex, delivering more grip and a wider tuning window. This allows you to dial-in your car over a wider range of temperature and track conditions. The new T3MX design features distinctive curved profile cutouts which alters the flex characteristics of the chassis compared to the stock Xray design. Because of this, the T3MX delivers unparalleled chassis response during quick direction changes and turn-in, while maintaining maximum rear traction. The Smokem T3MX is suitable for all Xray T3-series electric tourers running the Xray dual bellcrank steering system with horizontal servo orientation.

ARC RC have introduced their R10 1/10th 190mm EP touring car chassis. It has been designed with a minimum of parts that not only keeps overall weight down, but also makes maintenance and setup on race day easier. The ultra precise ball-ends and steel-hardened balls have been designed and developed to ensure minimum tolerances and remove play in the joint. The R10’s chassis is 82mm wide which allows the car to roll more quickly and reduces the chance of the car grounding while cornering while the CVDs have been made from hardened spring steel and are designed to use a G clip to prevent the drive pin coming out during use. The hard anodised shock bodies are teflon coated, giving the CNC shock piston smooth movement and excellent durability. The full plastic gear diff, has 6 precision gears producing a smooth and efficient operation and with 7075-T6 hard coated outdrives, there will be no leakage of oils from these units.
