From new brand Takashima D-13, based in Hongkong, is this lightweight curved steering slide rack bulkhead set for Yokomo YD-2S/E & ReveD MC-1. The focus of this new assembly is to make the slide rack bulkhead set much lighter than the Yokomo one, helping to improve the steering response. They also integrated a centre position check point to make it easier to adjust the servo horn to the middle position.
Last weekend was the first race of the Southern Ontario onroad Championship series at Outlaw RC Motorsports, home of the Canadian On-Road Nationals. The Outlaw crew put on a great event and took lots of extra precautions to keep us all safe and healthy. In TC Mod Barret Morrow (Xray) managed to TQ but would only finish in 3rd overall after some setup changes. The win would go to Bryce Frechette (Xray), just ahead of Lou Vanderway in 2nd. In TC Stock Bryce Frechette qualified first, but it was Lou Vanderway that would take home the win with Barret Morrow taking 2nd and Frechette having to settle for 3rd.
From Creation Model for the IF8 and other 1/8th scale cars is this lightweight lip spoiler set. Coming in at approx 5grams including fastener and nut, it is recommended for use with a lightweight bodyshell. Available in clear as well as a special carbon style, the latter features a printed Infinity logo and a guide scale is included to help evenly set the exact height of the spoiler.
Xray have teased the upcoming release of the 2021 version of their popular race winning X1 Formula one kit. We don’t expect this to be an all new platform, more of an evolution, however what changes there will be remains to be seen. Fenix Racing have introduced their new G12 1/12th scale chassis featuring the company’s V-link rear suspension. The G12 has been tested in different environments and tracks, in Europe and Japan, with a huge development done by Mr. Kimihiko Yano and his team. The rear end sports 5 different roll centres positions, to grant you the most precise setup, to get the most from your rear tyres. Multiple side links are used to set the rear bump steer in the best way possible and for the front end they tested several solutions, but nothing come close to the CRC front end. Camber, caster and dynamic caster, everything is easy to work on and on top of that, the CRC front end has proven to be super reliable.

The Florida State Series started its 41st season at Valkaria RC, home of the 2016 Roar Nationals. With nearly 90 entries running 3 qualifiers and 1 main and 7 different classes it was set to be a long day of racing. In the heavily contested 17.5 Super stock TC, Wallace Motorsports team driver Dave Vera took the TQ and the wire to wire win with his Infinity If14-2, with Brian Larkin coming in 2nd and Anthony Schimizzi rounding out the podium. Dave was also able to TQ and take the wire to wire win in the Modified division with his Infinity TC by a narrow margin over Felix Law (2nd) and Cory Parsons (3rd). In Formula One, Wallace Motorsports driver Anthony Schimizzi from 2nd on the grid put some serious pressure with just under 1 minute to go in the race on TQ Sean Wager and made an awesome pass in the chicane coming onto the straight to take the lead and hold on for the win. Sean Wager would finish 2nd with Scott Meeks finishing 3rd.
New for the 1/27 or Mini-Z classes, Team Powers International have introduced n updated brushless system comprising of motor and ESC. The MBX V2 brushless motor is sensored, 15% smaller than their previous iteration and is available in 3500KV, 5000KV & 7000KV. The new version M-Radon V2.1 Brushless Speed Control for Mini-Z has upgraded features compared with the M-Radon V2.0, including 2 extra item functions (Limit Power and Limit Power Range) added into the software to improve the pick up linearity for mini drift or touring car. Some hardware components. have also been upgraded for better stability and reliability.
The Halloween Classic 2020, hosted by NORCAR at the Gate in Brunswick, Ohio, was the kickoff event to the 2020 carpet season. Limited to a total of 40 drivers due to local state guidelines, the race was sold out with RC racers eager to get out and start racing after many months of quarantine. The track is a permanent CRC Black Carpet track with a subfloor underneath it for a super smooth racing surface while the layout was technical and had high traction. Factory RC America/Xray team driver Max Kuenning was able to reset TQ in every qualifier of the stock class with the all new X12’21. In the final he was able to lead from tone to tone to bring home the win ahead of fellow Xray driver Fabio Evangelista in 2nd and John Dickson (Awesomatix) in 3rd.
