Increasing the number of colour options available for their popular DR10 drag race car, Team Associated have now introduced a purple version. Joining the previously available orange and green editions, this new colurway features the same chassis and configuration as the others meaning it can be purchased as an RTR as well as a LiPo combo version which includes LiPo battery and charger.
New from the Pepe Group is this P-Line Muffler Glove spray, a special protective grease that is resistant to very high temperatures. Supplied in a 400ml can you apply it by spraying at least one complete layer of the product onto the pipe/manifold. Afterwards all the tire rubber residue that sticks to the pipe can be easily removed with a simple cloth and without any effort. An application lasts for more than 12 hours.

New from Roche for the Rapide F1 series comes this new aluminium side link mount. Made by 7075 aluminium with a slot on bottom for a more stable mounting on the main chassis, the side link angle is changeable by altering the included red anodised aluminium insert to adjust the corner response.

The first round of the popular XRS Slovakia race series was held last Saturday at the Hudy Arena in Trencin. Unfortunately, due to local Covid-19 restrictions the entry count had to be limited to 50 drivers. So as expected, the race sold out in very short time, proving the popularity of the series, even in a complicated time like this. The race was run in 5 classes, with 3 on-road classes. Touring car modified, stock (with Hobbywing spec hand-out motors) as well as Formula. In the modified class, Bruno Coelho took the TQ position after the 3 qualifiers, just in front of Alexander Hagberg, with Oliver Havranek in the 3rd spot. Bruno managed to win the race as well, after some really close fights in the finals. Alex and Bruno were separated by less than 1 second in all of the finals, both drivers using the brand new T4 2021 cars.

Yokomo have also introduced the newest version of their Racing Performer DX-1 Type-R, which is their best-selling motor for drift users. This spec features a lightweight and high quality titanium rotor shaft to further enhance the performance of the Type-R. A lighter rotor makes the throttle very smooth, while the optimised magnetic force improves high speed performance while working well with the boost and turbo functions of the speed controller. Compared to steel shafts, it is more resistant to overheating which can maximise efficiency even when running for long periods of time. In addition, by smoothing the descent of rotation when letting off the throttle, you get the feeling of rolling in the corner, which enhances control during cornering.

Yokomo have released a ton of new option parts for their extremely popular YD-2 drift chassis, starting with this upgraded slide rack set. The now single piece aluminium bulkhead that supports the entire slide rack ensures more accurate setup than with the original parts. In addition, changing the bridge at the rear end of the front bulkhead to the upper deck adapter, it enhances the flex at the front of the chassis. This set is compatible with both E series and S series, and the graphite upper deck compatible with slide racks will be required when using it for the E series.
