Team Shepherd have announced a new optional item for the Velox V10 platform in the form of an all-new radio plate stiffener milled from high-quality German carbon fibre. Mounted at the front end it changes the cars flex characteristic which can be helpful under high-traction conditions by taking out some steering. The necessary screws are included and the item is available from now on.
Schumacher have announced the 2020 edition of the Schumacher GP Italy. Held at the 4th of October at the popular RC Landia track in Scandiano, renowned for hosting the popular annual Charity Race and host for the upcoming EFRA GT12 European cup in November. The event will act as a warm up race to that event, with GT12 among the classes catered for, but the event will also see LMP, Touring Car and FWD classes run. Coming from Team Bomber and made for their TB-AK12 1/12th scale pan car kit are new centre shock springs. Designed for the car’s big bore centre shock and also usable for many other cars utilising the same design, the springs help to fine-tune bump handling and rear traction according to the track conditions. The springs are made of high-quality steel, precision manufactured, and they come in colour-coded hardnesses of soft, medium and medium-hard.

Xpress have added all-round nice guy and multi-class talent, Felix Law to their factory team. Felix is known for his vast touring car knowledge and will attend all major races in the U.S. while also helping racers with track-side tech support.

Maclan Racing have announced the signing of Felix Law to their factory team. The US frontrunner and IFMAR Worlds finalist has inked a multi-year and while running Maclan Racing electronics at all major races he will also represent the brand at the track while helping with R&D of forthcoming new brushless speed controllers and motors. Felix has the following to say about the deal:

The 2020 Russian Cup and Russian Championship was a double header race that took place at the Lemar Modelsport track recently. Due to the Coronavirus the race wasn’t so well attended, but racing was tight an in the end it was Maxim Laverychev with the win in the Modified Touring classes of both the Russian Cup and the Russian Championship with both races run on the same weekend. Ilya Plakhotnik came in 2nd overall in the Russian Cup while Andrey Samoylenko rounded out the top 3.

The opening round of the Brazilian nitro on-road nationals took place in Americana recently. In the 1/8th IC Track class it was multi-time national champion, Flavio Elias with the overall TQ and he also brought home the win in the 40-minute A-main event. Eduardo Dulac came in 2nd overall, some 15 seconds behind Elias as Samuel Prato came in 3rd overall, already some eleven laps down.
