Xray have announced the 2020/21 Xray Racing Series Slovakia will take place between October 2020 and March 2021. The series will be held in electric on-road and off-road classes including Touring Modified and Stock, FWD, Pan Car, Formula, 2WD and 4WD Buggy, Stadium Truck and Truggy and all six rounds will take place at the iconic Hudy Arena in Trencin, Slovakia. The Italian Minicar Fontanellato held their 30 Years Anniversary Trophy last weekend in several 1/10th and 1/8th scale electric on-road classes. In Touring 13.5T EFRA it was Alessandro Arisi with the overall TQ after a clean sweep in all three qualifying rounds. The opening A-main was won by Edoardo Forte, however Guido Carbognani would take wins in A2 and A3 for the overall from Edoardo Forte in 2nd and Nicholas Papa in 3rd.

The Wiesbadener Minicar Club hosted a round of the Pro Stock Series last weekend. The event was held in Open and PSS classes and in 1/8th Open it was Dennis Weihert with the win from Olaf Engelmann in 2nd and David Kröger in 3rd.
Serpent have introduced their new adjustable one-way front diff set for the S7XX series of 1/10th 200mm on-road cars. The drag-assisted one-way replaces the standard front diff and it enables the driver to still brake and turn in like using a diff, however corner exit drive and change of direction on-throttle is greatly improved. The set is a direct fit on the S750 and it also fits older generation S7XX cars.
Round 2 of the Italian UISP GT National Championship was held at the Pista Verde Fener track last weekend. In the Super GT Expert class it was Loris Luise with the overall TQ and he also brought home the win in the half-hour long A-main event, leaving behind Fabio Vigani in 2nd, some six seconds behind. Natanaele Senesi came in 3rd overall, a lap down.

WRC Racing have introduced their all-new ST2.1 1/10th scale front-wheel drive electric touring car kit. The car is based on the successful STX.7 platform and features the now-popular mid-front motor position for optimised traction and stability while sharing most spare and optional parts with its 4WD sibling. The car uses a carbon fibre double deck chassis construction, a fluid-filled gear differential as well as easy to adjust body mounts for quick adaption to different lids. The steering utilises WRC’s proven curved rail design and a low centre of gravity servo mount. An off-road-inspired battery mount uses rubber O-rings to secure the battery pack, doing away with the common use of reinforced battery tape or battery taps. Other features include ultra low-profile shock towers and shock absorbers while new low-friction driveshaft blades ensure an efficient drivetrain. The kit is already available.
Soda City RC Raceway of Columbia, South Carolina held their 2020 Summer Sizzler last weekend in several 1/10th and 1/12th scale electric on-road classes. In USVTA it was Nathan Flores with the overall TQ, however the single 8-minute A-main saw Myron Kinnard with the win, after taking the lead in the opening stages of the race and never looking back. Nathan had to settle for 2nd overall, only 0.3 seconds behind while Tony T came in 3rd overall, some two laps down.

Coming from MST and usable for their range of drift cars is a carbon fibre lower front bumper. The part is machined of high-quality 3mm carbon fibre and it is a direct replacement for the standard bumper, offering improved rigidity and looks. Included with the bumper comes mounting hardware as well as a chrome decal for decoration purposes. Beside MST’s own range of chassis the bumper is understood to fit other brand’s cars using the same mounting pattern.
