Tekno RC captured 17mm wheel nuts

Coming from Tekno RC are their new captured 17mm wheel nuts for 1/8th scale off-road buggies and trucks. Of a lightweight design the wheel nuts also protect the stub axles from getting packed with dirt and the serration grabs onto the wheel very tightly, ensuring the wheels will not get loose mid-race. the red anodised nuts feature the proud Tekno RC logo and they come in sets of four.

Pirani RC pistol grip fast fuel gun

Pirani RC from Italy have introduced a variant of their fast fuel gun, that is now also available with a standard pistol grip handle. This trigger type gun is designed to offer the best performance, super light weight and it features a fully transparent body to quickly and easily check the fuel level. The gun also sports an updated fuel hole size to increase the refuelling speed.

Brown & Yoshii win at Northwest Indoor Series Rd4

Round 4 of the Northwest Indoor Series was held at the Tacoma RC Raceway in Tacoma, Washington last weekend. The event attracted over 150 entries and in the premier class of 2WD Mod Buggy it was TLR racer, Mikey Brown with the overall TQ. Mikey then went on to win A1 and A2 for an early overall victory while the fight for the remaining podium spots was on between Harley Yoshii, Roger Seim, Dalton Pierce and Jackson Andres. In the end it was Yokomo pilot Harley who would snatch the runner-up spot with 2-3-3 finishes as Roger Seim (Yokomo), despite winning A3, had to settle for 3rd overall. Dalton Pierce ended tie on points with Harley and Roger but only came in 4th overall as Jackson Andres completed the top 5 results.

JConcepts B74 aluminium floating servo mount bracket

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Team Associated B74 buggy is an aluminium floating servo mount bracket. Durability in the chassis assembly is crucial to a proper handling vehicle. The JConcepts servo mount bracket is machined in high-grade aluminium and anodised blue for top-notch looks. The servo mount bracket aligns next to the centre chassis spline and attaches to the chassis using the stock hardware. The rigid assembly and lightweight construction of the bracket is a perfect complement to the B74.

Team Associated RC8B3 series anti-roll bar sets

Team Associated have introduced two new sets of thinner Factory Team anti-roll bars for the RC8B3 series platform. Thinner anti-roll bars lower the roll centre on the corresponding end of the car, which can be used as a tuning option for various conditions. The front end set contains 2.0mm, 2.1mm, and 2.2mm front anti-roll bars while the rear set includes 2.2mm, 2.3mm, and 2.4mm anti-roll bars. The sets are usable on the RC8B3 and RC8T3 platforms.

Alsop & Fyfe win at Deerdale Winter Series

The Deerdale Off-road Club in the UK held a round of their Winter Series this past weekend. The event was the penultimate round of the winter series and in Nitro Buggy it was HB Racing’s Graham Alsop with the win from the Team Associated duo of Neil Cragg in 2nd and Freddie Thompson in 3rd. Over in the E-Buggy class Paul Fyfe would walk away with thew in from Rob Beavers in 2nd and Chris Jeffery in 3rd.

Adam Drake TQs & wins at Grass Roots Racing Series Rd3

Palm Desert Raceway of Palm Desert, California hosted round 3 of the Grass Roots Racing Series this past weekend, attracting over 130 entries. In the Open Nitro Buggy class it was Mugen’s Adam Drake with the overall TQ and he would also bring home the win in the 20-minute A-main event from 10th place qualifier, TLR’s Anthony Westergaard in 2nd. Cole Jenson, also piloting a TLR buggy, came in 3rd overall a lap short of Adam and Anthony.
