Serpent SRX8GT TQ 1/8th scale nitro GT kit

Serpent have announced the soon release of their new SRX8GT TQ 1/8th scale nitro GT kit. The TQ is based on the SRX8GT that has proven his potential at the World Championships in Miami this January. The kit shares many high performance parts from the successful SRX8 platform with many new design concepts further pushing the overall performance. First up is the all-new gearbox that was carried over from the 989. The gearbox has a lower inertia for improved acceleration while a much longer ramp for the roller avoides locking of the second gear even with excessive wear on the shoes. Despite being lighter the gearbox offers new features to improve reliability and adjustability, such as the M4 set screws for gap adjustment, dual bearings in the second gear bell, and easy access adjustment from the outside.

LCG Racing T4 2020 1mm top deck spacers

LCG Racing, the new start-up of Nicholas Lee and Carl Groessel, have introduced their new 1mm carbon fibre top deck spacers for the Xray T4 2020 touring car. The slide-in spacers allow for quick and easy adjustment of the car’s flex characteristics and the three-hole design makes them usable even with the ARS ball studs installed, in which case normal shims do not fit. The shims work by inserting them between the top deck and the bulkheads which increases the overall chassis flex, allowing the car to be more forgiving and easier to drive. They are made of high quality carbon fibre, come in sets of four and are available now.
