Ilia van Gastel wins Dutch 1/8th Nats Rd4

Last weekend saw the 4th round of the Dutch 1/8 nationals run on the very small and tricky track of MBC de Sluis in Gouda. Due to holidays and some other reasons there was only 41 drivers. The weather forecast for the race day did predict some rain but in the morning the racers were presented with a drying track while the rest of the day was perfect dry weather. Arco de Jong wins Dutch 1/10th NK Rd4

The 4th round of the Dutch 1/10th 200mm Nationals was held last weekend at the MACH track in Heemstede. Qualifying for the NK class saw reigning champion Pedro Rombouts take the pole position ahead of Rik Prins, Arco de Jong and round 3 winner Maxim Claes. Some close battles in the main final, saw Arco de Jong leading the way following a problem for pole man Rombouts who would eventually recover to 3rd. Maxim Claes wins Rd3 of Dutch Nationals

The 3rd round of the Dutch 1/10th scale gas nationals took place last weekend on the small and technical MBC de Sluis track. A nice sunny weekend greeted all the drivers and in the main NK class it was Belgian racer Maxim Claes that took the win by a lap in front of Remy Moller in 3nd and Arco de Jong in 3rd. Pedro Rombouts wins Dutch NK Rd2

The 2nd round of the Dutch Nationals for 1/10th 200mm was run last weekend at the RAC02000 track in Utrecht. Qualifying for the NK class saw Belgian racer and Euro B finalist Maxim Claes take the pole position with his Xray ahead of Serpent driver Daan Jacobs in 2nd, with current champion Pedro Rombouts in 3rd and Remy Moller in 4th. Making a comeback for the weekend was Julius Kolff, the former European 235mm champion showing he has lost none of his speed qualifying in 5th. Robin d’Hondt wins Dutch 2nd round

Round 2 of the Dutch 1/8th scale nationals was held last weekend on the fast MAC de Baanbrekers track in Rucphen, and fast it was, on the Saturday the fast guys like Van Gastel, d’Hondt, Ermen and Rick V were driving laps under 13.0 seconds giving an example how the competition will be. Rombouts is Dutch Champion following Rd6 win

The 6th and final round of the Dutch 1/10th scale Nationals took place at the weekend at the RACO track in Utrecht with early fog clearing to become a clear dry day. With the NK Championship still up for grabs it would a tough battle between front runners Pedro Rombouts and Maarten van Lierop with Maarten needing to win, while Pedro was in 3rd or lower, while Pedro just needed to finish close to Maarten. Maarten van Lierop takes Rd5 in Holland

The fifth round of the Dutch 1/10th scale Nationals took place last weekend at the MACH track in Heemstede, just 1 week after the 4th round, which was run in Groningen. Qualifying went Daan Jacobs’ way and was 3 seconds clear of Maarten van Lierop, with series leader Pedro Rombouts taking the 3rd spot.
