CML Distribution in the UK have announced the release of the new metered glow starter from Team Magic . A nice looking tool, this version sports a meter on the top end to show if your plug is working or not and sports a knurled edge for easy grip. The shiney black coating looks really cool, and the orange spring is a nice touch, so for looks alone this would be a great glow starter.

Back in April we showed you an exclusive CAD image of the new 1/12th pan car from Kyosho, well here is the first photo of the car, due to be released next week. Yet anotherannouncement for the Japanese company at its home show at Shizuoka, the new car features front suspension using a coil spring over the steering block king pin, similar to the setup on a Mini Z, comes with a 38cc fuel tank, aluminium chassis, has a rear ball diff and actually has a 2 speed gearbox. Other more obvious things are that its 4wd belt driven, through 2 belts, and comes with a Sirio .09 motor, which i’m sure they are trying to shift considering the companies soon to be announced deal with CRF.
It looks like Kyosho will be busy at next weeks Shizuoka Hobby show with the scheduled introduction of the new Shin edition TF-5 Stallion electric touring car. Made with large input from all Kyosho team drivers, and named after factory racer Shinosuke Adachi, the new car is much stiffer and features an all new carbon chassis plate to eliminate flex. Also new on the Shin edition is the use of shorter lower rear wishbones for eliminating roll, as well as a new system for adjusting the roll centers in the front and rear of the car. The car also sports a different servo saver with new Ackermann as well as a more rigid top plate and better weight distribution.
