Xtreme Racing Slash/Rustler drag racing shock towers

Made for the Traxxas Slash and Rustler trucks are Xtreme Racing’s new carbon fibre drag racing shock towers. The shock stays, machined from 3mm high-quality carbon fibre, are shorter than the standard towers for a lower body fit. Both were designed for the use with 65mm shocks such as the 4-Tec dampers or even turnbuckles and they include mounting hardware.

T-Works NB48 2.0 steel chassis skid protectors

T-Works have announced the release of their new stainless steel chassis skid protector sets for the Tekno RC NB48 2.0 buggy. The skid plates will provide additional chassis protection in the front and rear areas, something that comes in handy especially when running on highly abrasive surfaces or on track with large jumps. The protector plates are made of high-quality stainless steel material for durability and corrosion resistance and they are available as separate front and rear end sets including a pair of skid plates each.

Serpent SRX2 Gen3 carbon fibre side stiffener panels

Coming for their brand-new SRX2 Gen3 1/10th 2WD buggy are Serpent’s optional carbon fibre side stiffener panels. Machined from 2mm carbon fibre, they a direct bolt on chassis flex tuning system and allow to fine-tune the overall flex characteristics of the car to a wide range of track conditions.

STRC Enduro alloy rear chassis brace & hex adapters

Coming from ST Racing Concepts are new aluminium optionals for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks in the form of a heavy duty aluminium rear chassis brace and 6.5mm aluminium hex adapters. The CNC-machined heavy duty rear chassis brace helps eliminate flex in the rear chassis rails allowing the suspension to do the work more effectively. The easy to install upgrade also enhances both looks and performance of the Enduro and it is available in Black, Gun Metal, limited edition Red and Silver anodising. As for the aluminium hex adapters, they help improve the durability over the stock plastic pieces and offer a slight wider stance than the stock hex adapters.

Xray Racing Series Slovakia Rd1 – Report

The opening round of the 2019/20 Xray Racing Series Slovakia was held at the Hudy Arena in Trencin last weekend. The event saw the running of both off-road and on-road classes with practice on Friday and racing on Saturday. In 2WD Buggy it was Max Götzl with the TQ in round 1 followed by Martin Bayer and Ales Bidovsky. Max was able to score another TQ run in Q2, again in front of Martin and Ales. Q3 then went to Martin, but as Max had faster time in the Q1, I took the overall TQ as Martin lined up 2nd and Ales 3rd.

Xray XB2C 2020 2WD buggy – Coming soon

Xray have announced the soon release of their new XB2C 2020 2WD off-road buggy. Designed for racing on carpet and astroturf tracks the kit will hit stores just in time for the new indoor season and full details should surface very soon.

Exotek B6.1 2-colour aluminium bulkhead

Exotek have introduced their new heavy duty 7075 alloy constructed 10g front bulkhead for the Team Associated B6.1, T6.1, SC6.1 as well as all other AE 6-series 2WD buggies and trucks. The bulkhead has two settings for kick up; 20 degrees and 30 degrees, depending on which direction it is mounted. The customised polished black base with blue chamfered accents goes great with stock plastic parts or after market blue parts and it offers protection from the elements.

Reds Racing 721 Scuderia Anniversario nitro engine

Reds Racing have introduced their strictly limited edition 721 Scuderia Anniversario 3.5cc nitro off-road engine. The power plant is limited to just 100 pieces which have been released to celebrate Reds Racing‘s 10th Anniversary. Due to the success of 721 Scuderia engine in recent competitions Reds Racing have decided to leave the main features unchanged and give the engine a new look in the form of a black cooling head with gold writings recalling the 721 Scuderia design. The engine comes with a customised quality control certificate indicating serial numbers from 1 to 100 and it is wrapped in a customised packaging. 721 Scuderia Anniversario Limited Edition together with 721 Scuderia and 721 Corsa belong to Reds S Line, a new generation range of engines produced with different materials, from different suppliers and with new technologies; all assembled in-house and fully carried out in Italy. Every S line engine features high reliability, tuning stability and fuel mileage.
