Aerox Bat-Safe box

Aerox, the accessories brand from Schumacher, has released this Bat-Safe for the charging & storage of LiPo batteries.  LiPos can be dangerous and the Bat-Safe provides the safest experience whether it will be storing, transporting or most importantly charging.  Highly recommending all LiPo batteries should be charged and stored in a Bat-Safe box and not a LiPo bag, Schumacher Racing are no longer selling LiPo Bags as they don’t believe they offer adequate LiPo fire protection.  The Aerox Bat-Safe is a double-walled insulated steel box with a flame arrestor.  Any battery within the specifications will not be a fire hazard if charged or stored inside it and in case of a fire, the smoke and soot is also filtered by the flame arrestor.

Orlowski wraps up ’24 season with EWS International win

Schumacher’s Michal Orlowski has wrapped up his 2024 season with victory at the EWS International, the Polish driver securing the win on tie-breaker from the Awesomatix of 2023 winner Olly Jefferies.  With the annual British race race once again attracting a number international entries including Mugen Seiki’s multiple EWS winner Ronald Volker and Xray’s Alexander Hagberg, it was Jefferies who would dominate qualifying to secure the overall TQ.  Topping all four rounds, the British driver’s closest rivals would be fellow British driver Kyle Branson in Q1, Orlowski in Q2 & 3 and his Awesomatix team-mate Lucas Urbain in the final qualifier.  Overall it was Orlowski who lined up P2 behind Jefferies with Branson third and newly crowned British National Champion Elliott Harper fourth.  In the first of the triple finals, Orlowski would take the win from Jefferies but the Top Qualifier got the win in A2 setting up A3 as the decider.  In a race that saw Jefferies and Orlowski in trouble early on it was Branson who took the win ahead of Volker and Alex Thurston.  With a tie for the win, it would be Orlowski’s fasters A1 win that would give him the overall with Branson completing the podium in Essex.  In 17.5 the Awesomatix of Ben Moorey took the TQ and win from Dane Jesper Rasmussen while in FWD it was the Yokomo of Danish racer who came away with victory.
