The third round of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals was held at the Glostrup Racing Club in difficult weather conditions. Saturday’s practice sessions were interrupted by the unavoidable rain but thankfully the track is known to dry up pretty fast and so a reasonable amount of runs could be completed. Round 2 of the Danish 1/8th Off-road Nationals was held in Skanderborg with the Truggy class run on Saturday and Buggy on Sunday. Pelle Culmsee would TQ three of the four Truggy qualifying rounds to take the overall TQ and by winning the semifinals he also put himself on pole position for the main final. Round 1 of the Danish Nitro On-road National Championship was held at the Naestved track in perfect weather conditions. In the premier 1/8th on-road class it was Martin N.O. The sixth round of the Danish DRCMU Indoor Electric On-road Nationals was recently held at the Djurs RC club. In the Touring Modified class Yokomo’s Frederik Hovgaard was the quickest driver from the get go, coming out fastest in the controlled practice by about a tenth of a second in front of Mike Gosvig (Xray), and Frederik would also take the opening two qualifiers to grab the pole position for the triple A-mains from Mike Gosvig and Mike Hansen (Schumacher). The second round of the Danish DRCMU electric on-road nationals was held at the large and technical track of the Vejle Mini Race club. Local racer Frederik Hovgaard (Yokomo) made his intentions clear to win the race by setting the early pace and coming out fastest in Q1 with Patrick Hornum (Awesomatix) a second behind. Round three of the Danish 1/10th 200mm Nitro On-road Nationals was held at the HRCR track in Hillerod, Denmark. The weather forecast for the weekend was very bad but on race day the drivers were greeted by Sun and temperatures of about 23 degree Celsius. The seventh and final round of the Danish Electric Off-road Nationals was recently held and in the 4WD class the championship was already decided with Xray’s Mike Gosvig having taken the title going into the final round. Mike wanted to end the season on a high though and by taking five of the five qualifiers he grabbed the TQ spot for the A-main events. Round six of the Danish 1/10th Electric Off-road Nationals was held at the new RC Royal track. The opening 4WD qualifier went to Mike Gosvig in front of Frederik Hovgaard while the latter would come out fastest in front of Mike in Q2.
