Mugen Seiki MTX7 nitro touring car kit

Following a first teaser image, Mugen Seiki have revealed more images of their forthcoming new MTX7 1/10th 200mm nitro on-road kit. Based on the successful and very popular MTX6R the new car received updates to the chassis, rear bulkhead, layshaft bulkhead, front upper arm and servo saver area in order to create a car that has improved rear traction, stability and a wider setup window. Improvements in rear traction and stability come from the new arm mount design that locates the rear lower arms directly on the rear bulkhead, similar to the MRX6. The new LCG rear bulkhead and bulkhead gear shaft lower the centre of gravity and make the MTX7 more stable at high speeds and when changing direction while the new aluminium servo saver improves precision and makes for a more direct steering feel. The new aluminium front upper arm bracket improves steering response has more adjustability and drivers can now adjust the height of the upper arm bracket as well as the length of the upper arms. This feature allows owners to tune the MTX7 to a wider range of track conditions. Other changes include the front drive shafts and pivot balls that have been changed to increase the overall steering angle for tight and low grip track conditions. The kit is rounded out by a new chassis, front anti-roll bar, rear differential case, rear shock tower, radio plate, and front upright arms.
