7075.it T4F aluminium & brass option parts

7075 Special Parts from Italy have announced the release of more aluminium and brass option parts for the Xray T4F FWD touring car. First up is a LCG 7075-T6 aluminium chassis that is stiffer and narrower than the original carbon fibre chassis, making it ideal for medium to high-bite track conditions. Excessive machining of the rear portion still allows for a certain amount of flex, retaining good rear end side bite. The chassis is available separately or as combo package including front, centre and rear end brass weights.

Turkey Onroad Championship Rd5 – Report

The 5th and final round of the Turkey Onroad Championship TORC was held at the Bursa Bumod track in great weather conditions and with a record entry for the 2019 season, making it the most competitive season of the last ten years. In the Electric Touring Modified class the race for the win was on between Atahan Yildiz, Mert Can Cakmak, Gökay Aktan and Yunus Şahin. In the end it was Mert with the win at round 5 from Athan Yildiz in 2nd and Yunus Sahin in 3rd, making it an Xray top 3. With his runner-up spot Athan was able to also seal the overall championship, his second in his young racing career.

Hiro Seiko X12’20 screw sets

Made for Xray’s new X12’20 1/12th scale pan car kits are three new high-quality screw sets from Hiro Seiko. The range includes a lightweight full titanium fastener set, a mixed orange aluminium and titanium ultra lightweight screw set as well as a low-CG kit that includes orange aluminium screws for the upper portions of the car and heavy stainless steel screws for the lower chassis area, ensuring a lower overall centre of gravity compared to just using lightweight screws. All three are made of high-quality material and they are available now.

RC-Aurora GLA V2 alloy & brass motor mount

PPM RC Racing have introduced the RC-Aurora aluminium and brass motor mount for the GL Racing GLA V2 micro on-road car. The 2-piece assembly is machined of hard-anodised 7075 aluminium and high-quality brass material and it is a direct fit for the GLA V2 chassis. While offering exceptional heat dissipation and rigidity, it also adds some weight which can be beneficial in certain track conditions.

RC Maker A800 GeoCarbon heavy duty steering limiters

RC Maker have introduced their new heavy duty steering limiters for the Awesomatix A800 touring cars. With the design based off the brand’s super successful original lightweight cam steering limiters, these heavy duty ones are solid and 1.6mm thick making them more durable against crashing, especially on harsh indoor tracks. Adjusting steering lock is an incredibly important tuning option, and one that is not simply done with reducing the dual rate on the transmitter. These provide a “stopper” which is a much more effective way of limiting your steering lock. The limiters provide four different steering lock settings thanks to the offset cam style design, which allows locks ranging from 22 deg inside to 29 deg inside (with the AM14LS, 1mm Ackerman + 1 deg toe out) simply by loosening the main screw, rotating the plate and re-tightening the screw. The set includes two limiters and it is available now.

Louth R/C Car Club Winter Series – Announcement

The Louth Radio Control Car Club has announced the third running of its Schumacher Winter Series. Off the back of last year’s successful club championship, the rules and format have remained the same. The series has an array of different classes, 13.5 Blinky, 17.5 Open, GT12, Tamiya Euro Trucks and inclusion of the Tamiya M-Chassis and MTC. The emphasis is on the racing, and not the size of the budget, or the equipment each driver has. The club has brought the feeling of a big event, with banners, race reports and pictures, but placed it within a club environment. The series kicks off on October 13th. ORCA OE101 Slim stock racing brushless ESC

ORCA have announced the release of their new OE101 Slim stock racing brushless speed controller. Measuring 30.45×30.35×10.35mm and weighing in at 20.8g the controller is both compact and lightweight, making it ideal for all weight fanatics or when using the speedo in crowded chassis layouts. The controller is 2S LiPo compatible, it has a 10.5T motor limit and it is highly adjustable – including a new “Party Mode” – using ORCA’s optional programming box. Included with the controller comes a 25mm and a 30mm cooling fan, all black power wires, a small capacitor unit as well as an extension wire.
