Tekno 1/8th scale large radius spring perch set

Tekno have introduced their new 1/8th scale large radius spring perch set for their 1/8th scale vehicles. The locking shock rod end and spring perch set features an updated design to drastically increase the life of the shock boots. In this new set, the spring perch has been redesigned with a large radius at the top of the slot where the perch slips over the shock shaft, eliminating a sharp edge that could quickly damage the shock boot. Less shock boot tearing means the shocks will be more consistent between rebuilds with less dirt and dust being allowed in, which also preserves the shock shafts and O-rings. This new spring perch set features the same tall spring perch design as the previous #TKR6140B shock rod end and spring perch set and is made from the same durable composite plastic. Compatible with all Tekno RC 1/8th vehicles as well as the SCT410 and MT410.

JConcepts SCT Octagons Aqua A2 compound

JConcepts have announced the release of their SCT Octagons tyres in the Aqua A2 compound. Developed for high-bite, slick tyre racing, the beauty of the Octagons lay just beneath the surface where the designers have removed a little surface area in the geometry based pattern. The carcass is new, slightly rounder and lower profile than JConcepts slick tyres of the past and it incorporates heavy X-pattern style inner ribbing for increased support. The continuous thickness carcass is light-weight and utilises the industry standard 3.0” x 2.2” mounting bead. Like the name suggests, the embossed tread which is Octagon shaped is repeated and overlapped to form a subculture of grippy surface edges for dry or abrasive surfaces. The package includes the Dirt-Tech inserts for best possible sidewall and thread support.

Darkside Designs B6.1 carbon fibre optionals

Darkside Designs have introduced new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated B6.1 buggy in the form of a B6.1D +2mm front shock tower, a rear body support and a slipper and tie-rod wrench. Starting with the front shock tower, the part is of a +2mm design for the use with the AE91617 shock shafts or 2mm unscrewed eyelets. In addition to allowing for an increased shock length the shock stay also offers in-between shock mount holes. Also new and usable for all B6.1 variants is a carbon fibre rear body support. It helps keeping the rear of the body in position by allowing the lid to rest on the support plate. The item will be attached to the rear shock tower and it is cut from high-quality carbon fibre. Last but not least comes the slipper and tie-rod wrench for all AE 6.1 series vehicles. The tool allows for easy camber link and slipper clutch adjustment.
