BRCA 1/8th Circuit Nationals Rd4 – Report

The fourth round of this year’s BRCA 1/8th Circuit National Championship was hosted by the Halifax circuit in West Yorkshire. The entry list was good, so the competition between drivers in their respective skill levels would be very close. Local driver Tim Wood was the first absentee on Saturday due to racing the Euro B finals in Italy but was due to attend on Sunday after a night flight and travel back Sunday morning. Mark Green takes British Formula Championship

Mark Green has come out successful in his recent 1/10th electric on-road campaign by winning the British 1/10th Formula championship title. On his way to the overall win he scored maximum points in first three of the four rounds to take the title with a 2 point margin on Mark Burgess. BRCA 1/8 Circuit National Championship Rd1 – Report

…Upfront, it was Green who started to pull out a comfortable lead over the chasing pack of Wood, Bancroft, Hastings, and North. The first retirement was Hastings with a blown plug but continued and eventually retired on 47 laps. Upfront Green was cruising to victory until an out of control car hit him on the back straight which broke the car and allowed Wood to take the lead. Green wins at British Indoor National Champs Rd3

Round 3 of the British Indoor National Championships was held at the Swift Raceway in South Yorkshire last weekend. Mark Green (Serpent) took the overall TQ in the Formula class and in the A-final he lead all the way from his pole position on the grid and managed to win the A-main from Mark Burgess (CRC) and Dave Underwood (Xray) who rounded out the podium. Mark Green wins British F1 Nationals Rd2

Last weekend was the 2nd round of a 4-meeting series for the British 1/10 F1 Nationals held at Broxtowe. Mark Green with his Serpent F110 managed TQ in 3 of the 4 qualifying rounds and lead the A-final for most of the race he have a close race with David Underwood for the first half of the final before winning the final by a full lap. BRCA GT & F1 Nationals Rd1 – Report

…gaining three places, whereas the race wasn’t quite as enjoyable for Kevin Creaser and David Underwood as both unfortunately dropped time through incidents.
