Buri Racer release new E2.1 & E1.3 teaser images

Buri Racer have released new teaser images of their forthcoming E2.1 and E1.3 1/8th electric pan car kits. The E2.1 is an all-new design with a central drive belt and off-set motor mount that will ensure more equal chassis flex upon acceleration and braking while updated front suspension components also for easier camber angle changes, utilising the pivot ball design found on suspension’d 1/8th on-road kits. In the rear, a new ride height adjustment ensures for an easier and wider range of ground clearance settings compared to the E1.2.

Icon RC ultraflex chassis 38g brass weight

Coming from Icon RC and made for their ultraflex chassis series is a 38g battery weight. Designed specifically to further lower the overall centre of gravity the weight is only 0.5mm thick, yet it adds 38g of weight which will result in increased stability when running on high grip carpet or asphalt tracks. Designed to fit snuggly into the milled sections of the chassis, the weight will not interfere with the natural chassis flex and it is available for the Team Associated TC7.2 and the new Infinity IF14 chassis.

Xray Racing Series Slovenia Rd3 – Report

Round 3 of the 2018/19 Xray Racing Series Slovenia was held at the Genius Ring in Medeuzza. The event attracted driver from six different countries, Austria, Croatia, Germany, France, Italy and Slovenia and the track was run counter clockwise. Three classes, Touring 13.5T, Touring 21.5T and Formula 21.5T were offered, all using control XRS motors and Hudy tyres to make for a level playing field. In the popular 13.5T class the pole position went to B.A. Arnaldi after a close fight with Germany’s Jan Ratheisky while Edoardo Repetti put his car on P3 for the finals.

Samix T4’19 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis set

Samix have introduced their new 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis kit for the Xray T4’19 touring car. Of an updated design the chassis is made of matte finish carbon fibre and it offer additional mounting positions for the recently introduced optional brass front balance weights. On top of that the chassis comes with a black anodised aluminium fan mount for 40mm fan units.

Xray Racing Series Greece Rd1 – Report

The opening round of the 2019 Xray Racing Series Greece was held at the Fanatix Racing Track in Athens. The somewhat cold weather meant drivers had to adapt their car’s setups and in Modified Touring, it was Ioannidis who made the best out of the conditions in the qualifiers, but he was under pressure of Nikolakopoulos, who led most of A1 but a last lap mistake meant Ioannidis would take the win. A2 and it was again Ioannidis with the win as leg 3 had to be cancelled due to rain. Behind Dimitris Ioannidis and Nick Nikolakopoulos it was Chris Vasilopoulos with the 3rd place overall.

R1 Wurks V21 1650 torque tuned rotor

R1 Wurks have announced the launch of the new 1650 option rotor for the V21 line of motors. The selected rotors offers 1625 to 1650+ Gauss reading, which is slightly higher than the company’s stock rotors for improved torque. The ROAR-approved rotor, much like the 1650 for the V16, includes the needed shims, as well as a printout of the rotor’s gauss reading.

Viljami Kutvonen sweeps at FinTrack Tour Rd2

Round 2 of the FinTrack Tour was held in Kuusankoski, Finland over the weekend. In the Touring Modified class it was Mugen’s Viljami Kutvonen who would make a clean sweep in the qualifiers and finals, taking the TQs in all four rounds of qualifying and coming out on top in A1 and A2 for the overall win. Team Associated driver, Karri Salmela came in 2nd from Xray’s Joel Valander in 3rd. Miko Teponoja and Georgy Chmigal completed the top 5 result.
