Exotek roll out new B6.1 series option parts

Coming from Exotek are three new option parts for Team Associated B6.1-based buggies and trucks. First up is a lightweight aluminium motor plate for vehicles using the laydown or layback transmission. The stealthy 2-colour anodised 7075 motor heatsink plate sports a polished black base with blue chamfered accents that go with stock plastic parts or after market blue parts. The black motor plate helps reduce motor temps while the built-in gear cover is stronger than the stock plastic cover to insure that the body does not press the cover onto the spur gear in hard tumbles. Also, the alloy material is kept in place around the motor and bolt screws to resist excess motor plate flex or bending but machined out elsewhere to reduce its weight to 12g. Lastly, the backside spacers are machined into the plate to provide more secure mounting to the gearbox. The plate is usable for the B6.1, T6.1 and SC6.1 vehicles.

Unfortunately before the main finals it started to rain and the grip dropped to zero making the race even more exciting. In the opening 2WD final Bartek Kramza was able to fend off the constant attacks of Iwa Czarnecki and Wojtek Rzepecki for the win. In the second final Iwo Czarnecki dominated the race while in the final leg and after a hard fight with Iwo it was Bartek Kramza with the win and the overall from Iwo in 2nd.
