Team Corally SSX-10 200mm pan car kit

Available now from Team Corally is the SSX-10 1/10th 200mm pan car kit. Announced for a good amount of time and finally hitting stores the Worlds GT chassis is constructed from carbon fibre and red anodised aluminium in combination with high-strength composite plastic parts. The car builds on a 2.5mm carbon fibre chassis and features a fully adjustable front end as well as a link-type rear suspension. Included are also a precision-ground graphite rear axle, a CNC-machined delrin spur gear as well as a composite front bumper for chassis protection. The kit is compatible to standard Pro10/WGT tyres and 200mm body shells.

Fenix X Series aluminium formula pan car main chassis

Available now from Fenix Racing are their new X Series aluminium main chassis plates for a range of popular 1/10th formula cars. Offering a 10mm longer wheelbase the 2mm chassis are made of 7075-T6 alloy and they feature a very marry design for minimal scrubbing during cornering. The chassis are available for the Fenix Mistral, Shepherd Velox and Xray X1 kits and they include a hardware kit making them a direct fit.

1up Racing introduce new TC7.2 option parts

Coming from 1up Racing and made for the Team Associated TC7.2 electric touring car are three new optionals. First up is the carbon fibre centre link set that will increase mid corner steering and overall steering response. The set was inspired by Team Associated factory driver Steve Weiss, and includes four carbon fibre links in 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3mm thicknesses to fine tune the desired feel depending on track conditions and racer preference. Two blue 7075 aluminium screws and 1mm thick washers for mounting complete the set.

Yokomo reveal full BD9 details

Following a few BD9 preview images released by Yokomo earlier today, the Japanese company now revealed more details of their forthcoming new electric 4WD touring car kit. Developed to recapture the ISTC World Championship title the designers left no stone untouched which results in over 90 percent new parts compared to the current BD8 2018 kit. The integral part of the car is the redesigned carbon fibre main chassis that is machined of a graphite material while adapting a new carbon fibre rear chassis backbone for better control of the rear chassis flex. To the chassis attach new front and rear aluminium bulkheads that are spaced at 18mm and that now feature ball races for the anti-roll bars in order to improve overall precision.

Luis Enrique Carrasco wins at Spanish EP On-road Nats Rd4

Round 4 of the Spanish Electric On-road Nationals was held at the Villarreal track last weekend. The event saw the running of the three classes of Touring Modified, Touring Stock and Formula. In the popular Touring Stock class it was Richard Rioja with the overall TQ from Luis Enrique Carrasco. With two wins in the opening two A-mains however it was Luis Enrique who hold the upper hand with his Awesomatix from Awesomatix team mate David Rebollo. Xray’s Richard Rioja had to settle for 3rd overall.

O.S. introduce new R21 Euro Spec & T-1203 engines

During the recent All Japan Model Hobby Show in Tokyo, Japan, O.S. Engines have introduced their forthcoming new Speed R21 Euro Spec and T-1203 on-road engines. Now more details and first official images have been made available. Starting with the 3.5cc R21 Euro Spec, the power plant was developed especially for large European-style tracks with long straights as the updated piston, port and crankshaft timing will improve the peak performance which is needed for power-hungry tracks. Furthermore the long-stroke engine comes with a redesigned cooling head for easy recognition and it is available as a combo set including the M2001SC manifold and T-2080SC exhaust pipe from October.

2018 EWS International – Announcement

The EWS Events team has announced details of the 2018 EWS International event. The race will take place on the weekend of the 7th to 9th of December, at the usual Essex Winter Series venue in the South-East of the UK. There will be classes for Modified Touring,13.5 Blinky Super Stock and17.5 Blinky Amateur Stock, all using the ETS-spec Volante carpet tyre. Last year saw the likes of Ronald Volker, Marc Rheinard, Max Machler and Christopher Krapp fighting for the titles, and these drivers have confirmed they will all return, with Infinity, Yokomo, Awesomatix and Xray all committed to sending Factory Team drivers to the ever-growing event. Details and rules can be found on the EWS website. Entries open this evening, 11th of October, at 19:30 UK Time (20:30 CET) on MyRCM and are expected to fill very quickly.
