T-Works D817 series graphite A-arm stiffeners

Made for all HB Racing D817, D815 and RGT8 based kits are T-Works’ new carbon fibre A-arm stiffeners. The CNC-machined add-on plates allow to fine-tune the overall stiffness of the arms depending on the surface traction or ambient temperatures. The stiffeners are available in 1.0mm, 1.2mm or 1.5mm thickness, equaling softer to harder settings, and as complete sets or as separate pairs for the front or rear of the vehicle.

Samix TRX-4 6mm & 8mm aluminium wheel hex adapters

Samix have introduced new 6mm and 8mm aluminium wheel hex adapters for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck. Coming as separate 4-piece sets the adapters are made of high-qualify CNC-machined aluminium and they are available in the three different colours of silver, gun metal or black. Using the adapters allows to fine-tune the track width on Traxxas’ popular truck and they are a direct fit using the stock hardware.

Tamiya Hahn Racing MAN & Conghead 6×6 XB RTR

Coming from Tamiya are two new ready-to-run XB series kits in the form of the Team Hahn Racing MAN TGS Euro race truck and the Conghead 6×6 monster truck. The MAN TGS builds on the proven TT-01 Type-E chassis and it comes factory assembled and including a pre-painted and pre-decorated body shell. The specifications are identical to the kit version, however the XB variant also includes a 2.4GHz radio system, steering servo, receiver, speed controller as well as a NiMH battery and a wall charger. The same items can also be found in the 1/18 scale Conghead 6×6 package with the 6-wheeler monster truck also coming with a pre-painted and pre-decorated body shell. The vehicle builds on the G6-01 chassis and both trucks will hit stores sometime in August.

JConcepts 817 series front scoop

JConcepts has introduced a front aero item for the popular and successful HB Racing 817 1/8th off-road buggy platform. The front scoop replaces the front nose-cone on the vehicle with a front wing design that has shown to produce enhanced steering characteristics and increased feel and sensitivity in the larger sweeping sections while helped jumping attitude in tricky jump sections of the track. The front scoop is usable with the D817 and E817 series buggies includes two pieces per package so a driver has enough to outfit their nitro and e-buggy with the same package.

Jörn Neumann teams up with Hiro Seiko

Hiro Seiko have announced the addition of Germany’s Jörn Neumann to their team. The multi-time national and international champion will be using Hiro Seiko’s lightweight screws to lower the weight of his Schumacher and SWorkz cars and he has the following to say:

Mike Bellotti wins at Independence Day club race

Mills Pond RC Speedway of Fort Lauderdale, Florida held their Independence Day club race yesterday. In the 1/8th scale E-Buggy class it was Daniel Chavez who set the pace in qualifying to take the overall TQ for the class. At the start of the A-main Daniel got the holeshot while P2 after the qualifiers, Mike Bellotti got cleaned out pretty good, although luck was on his side and still allowed him to get through un-marshaled. Mike was in P2 behind Daniel and Mike buckled down and turned clean laps waiting in the strike zone to make a move. Dan had a bobble allowing Mike to get around him and basically go unchallenged to the end of the main. Daniel would come in 2nd a lap down after the 10-minute main as Alex Maclellan rounded out the top 3 results.
