Jimmy Deprez wins at Border Wars Rd1

Last weekend was the first leg of the Border Wars series, an U.S. Southwest 5-race series which hosts races in Colorado, West Texas, and New Mexico. The race was held in several nitro and electric classes and in Open Nitro Buggy it was Sean Guthrie with the TQ from Braxton Morgan on P2. The 30-minute main final then saw Jimmy Deprez, who got a bit beat up at the beginning of the race, taking the win. After qualifying on the 8th spot, Jimmy kept his head down and had some really good middle stints, making up time to bring home the victory with a 1-lap margin from Roman Gastelum 2nd and Scott Brewer 3rd.
