RC Cars Cavalieri from Germany have expanded their range of carbon fibre option parts for the Kyosho MP9 TKI4 with the introduction of front and rear shock towers. The front tower is machined from 5mm material while the rear tower uses 4mm carbon fibre. The towers will reduce overall weight compared to the stock aluminium items, they fit both the TKI4 and older spec TKI3 and they are available separately or as a complete set.
Coming from Samix and made for the Axial SCX10 II trail truck is a brass rear brake adapter set with mock-up brake discs and brake callipers. The adapters are designed for the use with he Samix rear lock outs and attach to the rear axle, adding 61g of weight per side for greater stability and improved climb performance. A black surface coating and gold-colour edge details round out the visual appearance. To up the scale looks the adapters can be equipped with the included fake brake discs and callipers.
Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced new option parts for the Team Associated B6.1 buggy in the form of alloy rear hubs and a low front wing mount. Starting with the rear hubs, the proven 2-piece design allows fine-adjustment and increases durability as the upper cap design can space away from the main hub with ballstud shims, allowing racers fine in-between adjustments for the rear upper link location. The upper caps are shared with the B6 and B64s design, with the same parts used both left and right. The upper cap design with a shorter washer stack reduces leverage on the outer ballstud, as well as increasing shock clearance for the turnbuckle. The hubs are available for the 67mm driveshaft setup in the B6.1 and B6.1D kits, they come in black or blue finish and they are also available as the B6.1 Carpet Hub Set, a black version which comes with -2mm upper caps and ballstuds specifically for carpet racing.
Coming soon from Schelle Racing Innovations is the limited edition Starter Kit for the Team Associated B6.1 buggy. The set contains the essentials that Schelle would bolt onto a fresh B6.1 kit to take it up a notch, such as the B6 Extreme battery strap, blue aluminium steering rack, carbon fibre wire caddy, tungsten carbide diff balls and ceramic caged thrust race as well as the B6.1 low front wing mount. Following the introduction of HB Racing’s new 1/8th buggy pre-mounts comes a new tyre, the Gridlock V2. Based on the original Gridlock tread, the V2 design features staggered blocks for more lateral grip compared to the original tyre. New sidewall blocks help on bumpy tracks and make the Gridlock V2 easier to drive and not as edgy for the driver. The V2 is a durable design with longer life than HB Megabite tyre and it is mounted on HB Racing’s version 2 dish wheels, available in yellow and white, that are 20 percent lighter than the original version. The pre-mounts are built using black closed cell inserts and they are available in Pink super soft, Red soft and White medium compound.

RC Cars Cavalieri from Germany have introduced the Mattioli Edition rear shock tower for the Mugen MBX8 buggy. The carbon fibre shock stay allows to use the HB Racing 817 series rear wing mount which is a common choice for many drivers these days. Apart from being different in the wing mount area the shock tower is understood to features standard MBX8 suspension geometry settings.

Coming from Lunsford and made for the Tekno EB410 buggy is a limited edition set of titanium-nitride-coloured 3.5mm Super Duty titanium turnbuckles. They are made of high-quality Grade 5 titanium and included in the set are four 40mm and two 55mm turnbuckles as well as a 1/8” drill bit to slightly open the Tekno rod ends as the turnbuckles are 0.5mm larger in diameter compared to the stock parts.

JConcepts have introduced the F2 body shell for the TLR 22 4.0 2WD buggy. Designed with aspects learned from the original Finnisher bodies, the F2 provides an even more aggressive look with included details which remain crucial to performance. Increased windshield angle provides a steady force upfront during mid-flight wind gusts on large jumps while the forward cab placement changes the performance and visible bias which help steering rotation in low traction corners. The side-pods have been simplified to remove unwanted changes in height to neutralise the at-speed handling and the rear of the pods have a dual step, scoop treatment which give a first in class look to the F2 body. The rear of the cab has the Finnisher step feature which allows the placement of a secondary side window and also several louver options off the rear. In addition to the newly designed body, JConcepts has included two of the latest Aero S-type rear wings to round out the package.
