JConcepts ReHab 1/8th buggy tyre

JConcepts have introduced their latest 1/8th buggy tyre, the ReHab. Based on its larger cousin, the Detox, the ReHab brings all the details of a successful tyre into a smaller tread package for smoother track conditions and consistent racing. The design revolves around the centre structure which has medium sized, dense lugs arranged in a stacked configuration. The lugs have strategically placed cuts and grooves to allow flex in dusty conditions to perform even if the track is deteriorating in a long main. The outer portion of the tread fits together like building blocks, with shapes placed together that nest well but also work together to flex laterally to provide steadfast side-bite. The tread tapers off cleanly to the outer side-wall giving a smooth transition during hard cornering. Included with the tyre, that is available in blue, green, black and R2 compound, are grey colour Dirt-Tech inserts.

Serpent SRX8 moulded rear uprights

Coming from Serpent and made for the SRX8 series of buggies are new moulded uprights. The rear hubs are designed to be a direct replacement for the aluminium parts if track conditions call for them as using the moulded parts over the more rigid alloy ones will result in increased grip especially in lower bite conditions. The hubs incorporate two arm length positions and they are usable with the old and new-style A-arms of the SRX8 and SRX8E.
