Hobbywing Quicrun brushless motors & controllers

German Hobbywing distributors Hype introduce the Quicrun series of “sports” brushless motors and speed controllers. The controllers are developed to work with sensorless and sensored motors and are LiPo and NiMH battery compatible. There is also a waterproof line of controllers available and a port for an optional programming card makes adjusting the speedos to your likings easy. Available are a 30A 1/16th scale ESC, two 60A 1/10th controllers with and without sensor port, as well as a 150A 1/8th variant. As for the motors, Hobbywing comes with a 3800kv sensorless 1/10th scale and 2000kv sensorless 1/8th scale offering beside four 1760kv to 3450kv sensored 540-size motors.

GForce Fujin front terminal brushless drift motors

Available soon from GForce is the Fujin brushless motor for drift cars. Being of quite an unconventional design with front mounted soldering terminals, the motor also features a high airflow can, internal fan unit and a special sound plate in the try to recreate the sound of a turbo charged full-scale engine. The rebuildable motor is available in 8.5T and 10.5T specification, features adjustable timing, ball bearings, and will become available by the beginning of May.

Kyosho Fazer VE Ferrari FXX

Coming soon from Kyosho is the Fazer VE Ferrari FXX ReadySet 4WD touring car. Based on the entry-level shaft-driven Fazer chassis the kit offers a slim composite tub main frame, a sealed drivetrain with gear differentials, single-structure lower suspension arms and a sealed receiver box. Other features include aluminium shock absorbers, fixed suspension links and the car comes factory assembled and equipped with a waterproof Team Orion R10 One brushless speed controller, Neon One 2400kv motor, waterproof steering servo and a 2.4GHz FHSS radio system. The package is rounded our by a pre-finished Ferrari FXX bodyshell.

OFNA X3-GT 1/8th on-road kit

OFNA presents the X3-GT 1/8th 4WD nitro on-road kit. Based around a sturdy, hard-anodised aluminium chassis with 2-diff drivetrain and 2-speed gearbox the vehicle also features low-profile aluminium shock towers and shocks, a 1-piece radio tray for easy servicing and maintenance, as well as a .28 recoil starter nitro engine with a tuned pipe for added performance. Included in the kit are strong steering and throttle servos, a 2.4GHZ radio system and also semi-slick tyres on black multi-spoke rims along mean looking GT bodyshell.

HPI Micro RS4 Bucky Lasek Subaru Impreza WRX

Available soon from HPI Racing is the Micro RS4 #81 Bucky Lasek Puma Global Rallycross Subaru Impreza WRX STI RTR set. Based on the iconic Micro RS4 the chassis offers full-time 4WD, coil-over shocks, replica wheels, a pre-installed 2.4GHz radio system and a pre-finished Subaru bodyshell. Included are also a 180-size motor, a suitable speed controller and a 6V battery pack.

Kyosho Plazma LM Mazda 787B

Available soon is Kyosho’s Mazda 787B based on the Plazma LM 1/12th scale pan car chassis. The kit is based on the Plazma Ra 1/12th competition chassis and features a long wheelbase FRP chassis, aluminium front suspension parts, alloy dampers and motor mount, as well as ball races, grippy foam tyres and it comes with a G20 brushed motor. Included are also one clear and one pre-painted Mazda 787B Le Mans body shell that resemble the monstrous Group C cars who attended at the 1991 24 Hours Le Mans race. Not included are the radio system, speed controller and battery.

LRP 30C 3400mAh hardcase LiPo battery

LRP introduce the new Power Pack 3400 hardcase LiPo battery. Build from 30C cells the battery mimics the dimensions of a NiMH racing pack making it ideal not only for a wide range of RTR vehicles but also nitro starter boxes and many other applications that need “racing pack”-style batteries. The pack comes in a protective hardcase and is pre-wired with a Tamiya-type connector and an EHR balancer port.

Yokomo YRS Roadster ARTR kit

Yokomo YRS Roadster RTR kit

Coming end of December is Yokomo’s new YRS Roadster 1/12th scale ARTR kit. The vehicle is based around a direct drive 2WD rear motor monocoque chassis with inline battery mount, direct drive steering and adjustable front suspension parts. The platform shares the tyres and wheels with the Yokomo GT series cars and the 340mm long roadster will become available with a red, yellow or green body in a factory assembled almost-ready-to-run form including a brushed 540-size motor. Coming as an option is also a drive set including a 2.4GHz radio system, servo, brushed speed contoller, LiPo battery and suitable charger.
