Yeah Racing release new TT-01E alloy optionals

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the popular Tamiya TT-01E entry level 4WD touring car are new aluminium suspension and drivetrain optionals. The range includes front and rear upper and lower arms, with the upper arms being of an adjustable design to allow for effortless fine-tuning of the wheel camber angles. The wishbones are machined from high-quality aluminium, they come red anodised, with laser-etched engravings for looks and including mounting hardware. As for the CV-style driveshafts, they are of a hybrid design with a durable steel wheel axle and a lightweight aluminium dogbone. Like the suspension arms the dog bones come red anodised for looks and surface protection. The parts are also available as a complete set including a lot of other sensible optionals that make the TT-01E stand out.

Ruddog 4000mAh 7.4V 50C LiIon stick pack battery

Ruddog have introduced their new 4000mAh 7.4V 50C LiIon stick battery pack that was developed for the use with ready-to-run cars or starter boxes. Measuring 139×46.5x25mm and weighing in at 225g the battery offers a low weight and high capacity, making it ideal to power cars, buggies and trucks as well as nitro starter boxes where the oval shape hardcase makes for easy adding to existing NiMH “Racing Pack” battery compartments. Using the Lithium-Ion cell technology for durability, the battery uses the same charging CC/CV charging settings as a 7.4V LiPo battery and it comes pre-wired with an industry-standard XH balance port and a T-type power connector.

Tamiya Mercedes CLK-GTR TT-01 Type-E kit

Coming soon from Tamiya is the Mercedes CLK-GTR TT-01 Type-E GT kit. The model was originally released on the TA-03R chassis and this release sees the classic race car body mounted on the proven and beginner friendly TT-01 Type-E chassis. The actual car was powered by a behemoth 6-liter V12 engine, and back in 1997 it had a highly successful FIA GT Championship season, taking six wins in eleven races on its way to the team and driver championships. The kit is set for a release in May.

Yeah Racing Tritronic 1/10 waterproof brushed 80A ESC

Yeah Racing have introduced their new and upgraded Tritronic brushed electronic speed controller. The ESC features automatic throttle programming, making it easier to change settings on the fly on the trail or even out bashing. Throttle range is automatically calibrated on power up and the external capacitor is now housed in a flat case for easy mounting as well. The controller is usable for 1/10th scale vehicles such as crawler and trail trucks, buggies, trucks and on-road cars using brushed motors of down to 12T.

Tamiya TRF Big Bore Dampers+ shock absorber set

Following their new set of Big Bore shock absorbers for M-chassis cars, Tamiya also release a set dedicated to their 1/10th scale touring car range. The shock absorbers feature a ten percent larger oil capacity compared to the standard TRF shocks, resulting in improved traction especially in lower grip or bumpy track conditions. An anti-friction coating makes for smooth shock action as do titanium-nitride-coated shock shafts. Included with the shock absorbers comes an arrangement of accessories such as aluminium and plastic spring retainers, different size upper and lower shock mount ball cups as well as machined shock pistons and a set of springs. The shocks are usable for chassis such as the FF-03 and FF-04 FWD cars, the TA05 to TA07 belt-driven chassis, the TB-03 and TB05 shaft-drive kits, the TT-02 and TT-01 as well as the XV01 kits.

Tamiya M-Chassis big bore shock set – Coming soon

Coming soon from Tamiya and made for their popular M-Chassis on-road kits is a big bore shock absorber set. The kit contains four high-quality threaded aluminum shock bodies that feature a friction-reducing coat for improved damping performance with titanium-nitride-coated shock shafts further enhancing performance and making for longer parts life. Also includes is an assortment of aluminium and composite plastic spring retainers, different size upper and lower ball cups as well as precision shock pistons, volume compensator foams to adjust rebound as well as two types of springs. The highly adjustable shocks can be adapted to pretty much every M-Chassis kit and they will hit stores soon.

Kingmax BLS7013 ultra high torque servo – Coming soon

Kingmax have announced the soon release of their new ultra high torque BLS7013 servo. The high-voltage capable servo offers up to 70kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.13s at 7.4V input. Usable for heavy duty 1/8th scale applications such as on-road, off-road and monster trucks the servo will feature a heavy duty, heatsink design case in a 2-tone finish. Full details will become available in time of the release.

Tamiya T3-01 alloy bearing holder & rear axle weights

Tamiya have introduced new optional parts for their fun and popular T3-01 trike series. First up is a set of aluminium rear bearing holders. The parts replace the standard plastic A2 bearing holders and offer increased durability and higher precision. In addition the blue surface anodising adds visual impact while their design allows the addition of the rear axle weight set. The bearing holders come as pair including mounting hardware. Also new is the aforementioned rear wheel weight set that includes two black colour 6g and two silver colour 10g weights that can be attached to the optional alloy bearing holder, improving rear traction and overall manoeuvrability.
