Avid RC 13x20x4 Revolution bearing

Avid RC have announced the completion of their 13x20x4 Revolution bearing used in the Xray 808 2010 Spec making them the first 3rd party bearing company to release this sized bearing for the 808, just like they did for the 13x19x4 and the 5x12x4 when they were first introduced almost two years ago. With the 1/8th scale buggy World Championship warm up race taking place in Pattaya this week, we thought it would be a good time to release an interview we made 2 weeks ago with the current European Champion Renaud Savoya. For those who don’t know, the French Mugen RB driver is currently based in Australia, taking advantage of the great weather and the country’s relative proximity to Thailand. Nic Hamilton teams up with LRP

LRP have announced Nic Hamilton as a new member of the LRP racing team. Young Nic, brother of 2008 Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton, has decided to join forces with LRP and VTEC for the upcoming racing season. Used to the sound and racing action of Formula 1, Nic still founds his true joy and passion in the R/C model sport and is determined to develop and improve in the coming season. Introduced to the R/C hobby by his brother Lewis back in 2007, Nic has already enjoyed early success, despite limited free time by finishing in an impressive 7th place at the AKA winter series and 4th in a recent 4 hour long endurance race.

2010 Much-More UK GP Series – Announcement

Much-More Racing UK are pleased to announce their 2010 GP race will take in 3 venues this year, covering Scotland, Northern Ireland and England. The first round of the series will be held on 28-30 May at the superb Stonehaven track near Aberdeen. Following last year’s success in Northern Ireland, round 2 is again at the Ballymoney circuit on 9-11 July. The final round, on 13-15 August will be at Carlisle making the choice of English venue easily accessible to racers attending the first two rounds. The GP meetings have brought together racers from all around the world and delivered some of the closest racing ever seen in the UK. The 2010 series will be the best yet. Andy Moore, Chris Grainger, Elliott Harper and Olly Jefferies have all taken the GP title in previous years. With the best 3 out of 3 rounds to determine the Series Champion in 2010, competition will be fierce to determine the winner of the Much-More UK Cup.
