JConcepts Illuzion RC10T4 Hi-Flow body

For the ultimate in form and function, JConcepts introduces the Hi-Flow body for the Associated RC10T4. The Illuzion “Hi-Flow” styling presents a flowing design while incorporating many radical edge styling details for additional style and performance. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and cove hood scoop combined with a durable flowing bed design are just some of the features that make this body stand out. Made from clear heavy-duty thickness polycarbonate, it comes supplied with protective film, window masks and detailed Illuzion decal sheet.

Team Azarashi Cracker Prototype

Japanese company Team Azarashi have shown the first pictures of the Cracker prototype, which is a new 2WD body shell that the company is developing. The release date is not yet decided, but their Team is working hard to get it to production following some positive testing and when released it should fit to Team Associated RC10B4 and the Kyosho Ultima RB5.

Trinity Extech Nitro engine line

RCCA have the word that Trinity is later this month launching a new high end nitro engine line for serious 1/8th off-road racing and for the monster truck racer that demands the best. The new “Extech Nitro” Sirio based engine line is built in Italy to the highest tolerances using all the latest nitro motor technology and high tech materials. The company’s first 3 releases will be a racing .21 for 1/8th off road and a tuned pipe as well as a roto-start .32 designed especially for monster trucks. Also due in the range are pipes for monster trucks, plugs and a hand blueprinted line of engines.

Medial Pro announce their Return

Following the announcement last October that French tyre maker Medial Pro was putting itself up for sale comes today’s release that they have been sold to Belgium based company Medial Pro BVBA. All inventory, rubber injection machinery and tyre moulds will be moved this month to the brand new production facility in Belgium where the production will be restarted at the end of April. This new company will be doing all it possibly can to supply the market, and their worldwide distributor network, with a new stock of tyres as soon as possible. Nothing will be changing on the rubber compounds but Medial Pro have said that the existing range of competition tyres will be extended before the end of this year with 5 new types of 1/8 off-road and Truggy tyres, designed by Claude Lachat.

Hot Bodies have released 2 new items, for both their Cyclone D4 4wd electric buggy and for general touring car use. Beef up your D4 with these tough purple anodised aluminium front hub carriers, included with the Worlds Edition they are now available for the standard D4. Sold in a pair of 2 and supplied with purple anodised roll centre adjustment washers, they are available in both 0 and 13 degree versions. Also new from HB is a range of 64 pitch spur gears, available in one-tooth steps from 88 to 94 teeth and 101 to 110 teeth, so now you can select the ultimate gear ratio for your touring car, pan car or other racing vehicle.

JConcepts Illuzion T-shirt & Jato body

JConcepts have released a number of new items beginning with this black t-shirt, which sports a large 2 colour Illuzion logo screen print on the front and is available in the usual range of sizes. JConcepts have also announced that the the Traxxas Jato truck will be getting the “Hi-Speed” styling treatment which presents a flowing design while incorporating many radical outlets and coves for additional air flow for electrical cooling. The body is also the first to include a separate rear wing with side dams that attaches to the rear of the truck bed for superior fit and finish. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and cove hood scoop combined with a durable flowing bed design are just some of the features. Team Associated RC8 parts

Team Associated have release some new items for their RC8 1/8th scale buggy, starting with these great new wheels. Excellent value for 1/8 scale enthusiasts, these lightweight, super-strong anti-wobble wheels stay true and resist bending under the toughest conditions. Each wheel is only 34 grams which means less rotating weight ensuring maximum punch, while a 4.2mm deep-set hex helps prevent the wheel from stripping and ruining your tires. Tough internal webbing with a central strengthening rib also helps prevents the wheel from warping or distorting and a half-depth vent hole allowing a choice of venting options. Sold in a pack of 4, they are available in white or yellow and work on other cars with the same size hex. Also new for the RC8, are internal snap rings, a perfect upgrade to bulletproof your cars shocks. AKA 1/8 scale off-road tires

Exclusively revealed on Red RC at the start of February, Kyosho America have officially announced the new AKA brand, which will launch with a line of high-performance 1/8 off-road tires, wheels and inserts. Mark Pavidis and Gil Losi, Jr. are spearheading the design of the new line, with the pairing responsible for the most successful off-road racing tire designs of the last decade, so the combined knowledge and racing experience of these two RC icons promises some very dynamic, high-performance tires. The launch will include two types of low-profile 1/8 off-road buggy and truck racing tires featuring two different compounds, lightweight and contoured foam inserts, and large-diameter low-profile racing wheels.
