Billy Fletcher joins Capricorn team

Capricorn RC have announced the addition of top British stock driver Billy Fletcher to their EP team. Billy will now use the TE05 platform to compete in the BRCA stock touring car nationals as well as running 1:8th EP, having made his debut in 2020 and challenging for the title. Billy had the following to say:

I’d firstly just like to thank Awesomatix for an amazing year, although cut short due to the COVID we achieved great results still. I can’t thank Capricorn enough for the opportunity they have given me this year to broaden my experience in the world of RC. Having spent time with the team last season venturing into 8th on road, I already know that amazing things will be achieved! You will find me on track with the latest TE-05 and C803 EP Race Evo.

David Loppini joins Shepherd factory team

Shepherd have announced that Italian front-runner David Loppini is joining the Shepherd factory team to race the Velox V10 platform. Working for a motorsport company in real life he is a great addition to the team as he has vast experience in design and development processes. David had the following to say:

I am really excited for this new adventure. The main factor that lead me to this choice is the pursuit of excellence showed by Shepherd factory, from design to material: smooth lines and excellent quality. I feel that team work is the key, and Shepherd is the right environment where to grow. Massive thanks to Giovanni and Patrick for this opportunity. Can’t wait to hit the track.

Toni Gruber joins Ielasi Tuned

Ielasi Tuned have announced the signing of former 1/10 European champion and former German champion Toni Gruber. Very happy to have another top level driver on the team, following the recent signing on Alex Zanchettin, their new driver had the following to say about joining the team:

First of all I want to say a big thank you to Novarossi for the past 8 years. The engines work very well and I achieved great Victories. Now I’m very happy to be racing with Ielasi Tuned engines. With the experience of Daniele Ielasi I can be sure that the engine has always the maximum possible power and quality. With these new engines I am sure we have a lot of success in 1/8 nitro onroad, 1/10 nitro onroad and 1/8 GT. I look forward for the next years with Ielasi Tuned.

FSEARA Series Rd4 – Report

Another strong 85 entries event at the Beachline Raceway for the 4th round of the FSEARA Series. It has been a tradition every January that there is a big FL Warm up race for the world-famous Snowbird National and this year was no exception, but with the Covid all around and organisers unable to host the warm up at Minnreg Hall, Largo FL, Robbie Michael continued this tradition to host it at Beachline Raceway. Using the track & space to duplicate the layout of the Snowbirds, Robbie did a great job as he prepared and opened the track early on Friday to give racers the chance to lay down some traction for the race day. There are many drivers from all around FL to attend these 3 days to get this final chance in order to prepare for the Snowbird Nationals.

Wallace Motorsports sign DJ Apolaro

Wallace Motorsports is excited to add, back-to-back 1/8 ROAR National Champion, 2-time Sedan ROAR Champion, and all around top American Nitro onroad talent, DJ Apolaro to the team. DJ was already using Hot Race Tyres with great results but now will be piloting Infinity cars, with Ielasi Tuned engines and PowerHD servos. DJ had this to say:

I am extremely excited to be a part of the Wallace Motorsports Team! I have seen this team continuously grow over the recent years and they already have a strong group of racers. I am fortunate to be a part of that and cannot wait to get started. They have all the high-end racing products any racer could want. Infinity, Hot Race Tires, Ielasi Motors and Power HD servos are just a few of the product lines they have, and I will be using them all moving forward. I am ready for the next chapter in my racing and want to thank Ben Wallace and team for making all this happen. See you at the track and cannot wait to help the team and customers in any way I can.

Jacob Cruz joins Mugen Seiki Racing

Mugen Seiki Racing have announced that Jacob Cruz has joined their team. Jacob will be focusing on the new MTC2 1/10th electric touring car as well as the World Champion MRX6X platforms for 2021 and beyond. Mugen Seiki Racing is excited to be working with Jacob and his father Marc Cruz, with Jacob saying ‘I would like to thank Mugen Seiki USA for this great opportunity to be part of their racing family. Special thanks to Kris Moore, Adam Drake and On Road Team Manager Brian Thomas for believing in me. Oliver Mack returns to Team Shepherd

Team Shepherd have announced the return of former 1/8 On-Road European Champion and multiple German champion Oliver Mack. Back in 2015 Oliver took his maiden European Championship A title running for Shepherd and now he is eager to restart the cooperation with the German manufacturer. Oliver plans to attend local races as well selected international events like the European Championship and ENS races. Oliver had the following to say:

Yannic Prumper powered by Dash from 2021

Dash are happy to announce the signing of European front runner Yannic Prumper. The former ETS race winner, who just rejoined Yokomo, will be running full Dash RC electronics along with Arrowmax Si-graphene LiPo batteries for this season and beyond. ‘Yannic will be a great addition and will help boaster the team in Europe’.
