Gary Huang wins at Chinese National Cup

The recent Chinese National Cup was held at the Amazing Indoor Arena in Guangzhou, China and a joint race with the 2018 Arrowmax Cup finals. In the Chinese National Cup it was Gary Huang with the win in the Touring Car class from Kenrick Fong 2nd and Vincent Tse 3rd.

Xray Racing Series Slovakia Rd3 – Report

The third round of Xray Racing Series Slovakia took place at the Hudy Racing Arena last weekend. In the Modified class Zdenko Kunak and Martin Hudy put their cars in the front row followed by Oliver Havranek. In the opening A-main the top 3 finished as they started however the second A-main was more interesting. Following mistakes of Zdenko and Martin it was Oliver in the lead, but when Martin made a mistake he hit Oliver in the process, allowing Zdenko to take the win and with it the overall from Oliver 2nd and Martin 3rd. In the third main the battle for the lead was on between Oliver and Martin as Zdenko made a mistake in the opening stages. In the end it was Martin who would hold the upper hand, taking the win for the overall runner-up spot from Oliver in 3rd.

Gollner & Riedmann win as Austrian EP On-road Nats

A round of the Austrian Electric On-road Nationals was recently held at the Trinko Racing Hall in Mistelbach. The event was held in the four classes of Touring Modified, Touring Stock, 1/12th scale and Pro10 GT and in Touring Modified it was a 2-horse battle between Sascha Klug and Patrick Gollner. After the qualifiers it looked like Sascha would be the man to beat but Patrick worked tirelessly to fine-tune his car’s setup and his own driving, eventually being able to put pressure on Sascha in the A-mains. In the end it was Patrick who would prevail, taking the day’s win from Sascha Klug in 2nd and Christian Luyer in 3rd.

Xray Xmas Race – Announcement

Xray will hold their 2018 Xmas Race at the Hudy Racing Arena in Trencin, Slovakia on the 29th of December, allowing racers to try and test their new toys in various on-road and off-road classes. The event is run using the same rule set as the XRS Slovakia, however the friendship race does not count as a round of the series, allowing drivers to just go and have as much fun as possible.

Xray Racing Series China – Announcement

The Xray Racing Series China will be held at the RCI V2 track in Shanghai, China on the 20th of January. Classes run are Touring Modified, Touring Stock 13.5T as well as Formula 21.5T and more information are soon available here.

Dionys Stadler wins at Swiss Indoor Championships

The Swiss Indoor Championship was held in Pfäffikon this past weekend. In the Touring Modified class it was Serpent’s Dionys Stadler with a clean sweep, taking the TQ, win and fastest lap in the process. Yokomo’s Michele Manzo had to settle for 2nd overall in front of Mugen’s Simon Kurzbuch in 3rd. Marco Kaufmann and Oliver Krähemann ended the race in 4th and 5th respectively.

Lantheaume & Auvinet win at Chrismas Race

The French Modelisme XtremeRace club held its traditional Christmas race this past weekend with some of the country’s fastest 1/10th off-road drivers in attendance. In the 2WD Buggy class it was Armand Lantheaume with the TQ and win from Noha Benmohamed in 2nd. In the 4WD class it was Patrick Jr Auvinet from Arnaud Matohanza and Armand Lantheaume.

Arrowmax Cup 2018 finals – Report

The Arrowmax Cup 2018 finals and China Open Nationals were a joint event that was held this past weekend at the Amazing Indoor Arena in Guangzhou, China. More than 100 drivers attended in the Touring Modified, Touring Stock and Formula categories. In the Touring Modified class Xray’s Gary Huang was the top seed after the controlled practice with Yokomo driver Nicholas Lee and Serpent driver “Rocket” Jack Zhang coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the Stock class Mugen driver Yan Cheung from Hong Kong took the 1st spot while Serpent driver “Stick King” Wai Yin Fung was the top seed of the Formula class.
