DJ Apolaro to run ABEC35 bearings

SPDMunki Power products, US Distributor for ABEC35, has just signed top US on-road driver DJ Apolaro for the 2010 season. DJ will be promoting their product line and proving the quality of the bearings through his racing season and results. DJ Apolaro, will be running the ABEC35 bearings for the 2010 season, in all his Serpent cars and had the following to say about the deal:

I would like to thank Steve Pak at SPDMunki Power Products for the opportunity to run the ABEC35 bearings. I have read good things about the bearings and got a chance to test them for myself. After using them to build my car and having felt the true smoothness of the bearings I was very pleased. The next step for me was if they could handle the durability test and they passed with flying colors. I have been searching for months now for quality bearings and ABEC35 are definitely the ones. I can’t wait to show these great bearings at the races to come. These ABEC35 Bearings Rock.

Mark Green wins BRCA 200mm Nats Rd2

Last weekend saw the 3rd round of the British 1/10th gas Nationals take place in Halifax and current national champion Kyle Branson sent us the following report. The weather was good on Saturday with temperatures around 26 degrees, The track had good traction to start with and gradually improved through the day, My car was good at the start but i gradually got understeer and so did Mark Green but he had it worse than me, we seemed to be the only drivers suffering with it, we tried a lot of things but for some reason we couldn’t get the steering back, although the car was still pretty fast by the end of Saturday. On Sunday the car felt better in the first run in the morning but I suffered with a little oversteer which was strange as it had changed from the day before, Mark made some changes in the morning and had made a big improvement in his car. I was TQ in the first qualifying ahead of Mark, in the second Mark got TQ just a second ahead of me in second place and in the final round I managed to improve by just about half a second, this put me one second behind Mark.
